The Las Vegas Raiders are finished with their 2025 NFL Draft. All of their picks have been made, and now they are looking forward to the 2025 NFL season, with training camp coming just before.
Well, not yet, actually. There is one more thing they have to do. Now, immediately after the draft, teams will start signing UDFAs, or Undrafted Free Agents. These are guys who, obviously, didn't get drafted, but are good enough to warrant an invite to the team after the draft. They will likely have a chance to show they belong, whether that's through offseason workouts or training camp.
And, we have seen some really good UDFAs make the 53-man roster before the season starts. Last year, we saw Amari Gainer, the linebacker from North Carolina and Florida State, make the 53-man roster. Then, Tennessee wide receiver Ramel Keyton made the 53-man roster after being signed as a UDFA.
So, the Raiders, recently, despite having a few different regimes come in and out, have drafted well, and then followed up their drafts with good UDFA classes. And, based on what we know about Pete Carroll and his time with the Seattle Seahawks, and John Spytek and his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and even the Denver Broncos before that, the Raiders could have a good UDFA class.
Just like Gainer last year, this year it could be anyone. There are some very good players in this 2025 class, and the Raiders are already getting started.
Here are the players they have signed so far:
Raiders UDFA tracker
- Minnesota EDGE Jah Joyner
- Kansas CB Mello Dotson
- Virginia Tech OT Parker Clements
- Baylor LB Matt Jones
- Baylor DL Trevon Ma’ae
- Iowa State OL Jarrod Hufford
- Townson TE Carter Runyon
Rookie Minicamp Invites
- Air Force S Camby Goff
These are some really good players that had the chance to be taken late in the draft, but the board didn't fall their way with the draft trends late, and are also players that the Raiders need depth for.
We will update the tracker as the signings come in.
