Twitter reacts to Commanders' front office moves

The winds of change continue to blow around the Washington Commanders. First, it was general manager Adam Peters, followed by head coach Dan Quinn and his coaching staff, assistant general manager Lance Newmark, over 20 free agents, nine draft picks and 11 undrafted free agents.

Since the draft is complete, Washington is now working on its front office. The Commanders have not renewed the contracts of multiple scouts and executives while making several new hires. On Monday, Washington officially announced the hiring of former Lions executive Brandon Sosna as the team’s new senior vice president of football operations. Washington is also hiring David Blackburn from the Ravens to serve as the new director of player personnel.

Additionally, the Commanders are also hiring Dwaune Jones as a national scout.

This isn’t the same old Washington under former owner Daniel Snyder. Fans are elated with the Commanders’ moves as we head to X—formerly Twitter—to see the reactions on a busy day for Washington.
