People join The Bachelor franchise to find their future wife or husband. But sometimes it doesn’t work out. Well, most of the time, it doesn’t work. Bachelor couple Kaity Biggar and Zach Shallcross recently tied the knot, but Season 29 couple Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa ended their engagement after just a few months.
The ABC dating show used to be one of the only ones on TV. Now there are reality TV dating shows on Netflix, Peacock, and even Bravo. Two stars of The Bachelor who didn’t find love on ABC are heading to a popular Netflix show for another chance at finding their person.
Bachelor In Paradise Spinoff Returning Soon
Not everyone looks outside ABC for their match after getting dumped or ending a relationship. Bachelor In Paradise gives rejected Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants another chance. The show suffered in the ratings during Season 9. ABC decided to take it off the schedule last year and bring it back this summer. A bigger and better version of Bachelor In Paradise premieres on July 7.
Bachelor Stars Confirmed For Netflix Dating Show
Bachelor Nations fans were hoping to see Clayton Echard or Rachel Recchia on Season 10 of Bachelor In Paradise. Rachel was on Season 9 of BIP but left the beach single. Clayton hasn’t publicly dated anyone since his split from Susie Evans in 2022.
But neither of them will be on the beach this year. Instead, they’re heading to Netflix to find love among a new crop of reality stars. Clayton and Rachel are on the cast list for Season 3 of Perfect Match.
The ultimate goal of the Nick Lachey-hosted show is to find your “perfect match” and win the show. Netflix plans to drop Season 3 in three parts. The first six episodes debut on the streaming service on August 1. Episodes 7-9 drop on August 8, followed by the season finale on August 15. Clayton Echard and Rachel Recchia almost found love with each other on Season 26 of The Bachelor. Despite spending the night together in the Fantasy Suite, Clayton sent Rachel and the other runner-up, Gabby Windey, home so he could pursue a relationship with Susie Evans.
Some Bachelor Nation fans are rooting for Rachel and Clayton to give their relationship another chance. But others want her friendship with Blake Moynes to turn romantic.
