Farrah Abraham has been very (randomly) outspoken about the anti-adoption crusade that her former co-stars Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell have been on the last few months. Although Farrah hasn’t had many nice things to say about the Teen Mom couple, during this week’s episode of their PodcastOne podcast, Cate & Ty Break It Down! Catelynn and Tyler actually apologized to Farrah for the way they treated her after the release of her 2013 adult film, Backdoor Teen Mom.
In addition, Cate and Ty discussed how their views on adult work have changed, with Catelynn even mentioning that she would not be upset if her daughters chose to take “spicy photos” of themselves when they become adults.
As The Ashley has previously reported, Tyler apologized to Farrah back in September for the way he treated her after her p0rn movie was released. Tyler— who, at the time, was posting sexy time pics of himself to his OnlyFans page— acknowledged that he was wrong to shame and vilify Farrah for doing the adult film. (Naturally, Farrah did not accept Tyler’s apology because….Farrah.)
On this week’s podcast episode, though, Catelynn expressed regret for how she treated her former co-star back then.
“Yeah, we did give [Farrah] a hard time and I would apologize,” Cate said.

Tyler brought up the fact that he— like much of the world— has changed his view on sex work since Farrah’s video was released 12 years ago.
“Things change, opinions change. People evolve. Things that were taboo 10 years ago are not taboo now, we have more information on it now.” he said. “People should not be so concrete. We are allowed to shift, our values are allowed to change and move with more information and more data. All I can do is say I’m sorry for the way she was treated.”
Tyler and Catelynn brought up the fact that a big part of the problem regarding Farrah’s p0rno was that it was a produced, full-on p0rn movie, although Farrah tried to play it off like it was a leaked celebrity sex tape. They also pointed out that Farrah using ‘Teen Mom’ in the title of her backdoor film heavily contributed to her being booted from the show.
“Should she have gotten a lot of hate for it? No,” Catelynn admitted. “…I would apologize to Farrah and tell her that.”
“I can say, ‘Aww s**t that wasn’t really good,'” Catelynn added. “My beliefs have changed.”

Catelynn then revealed that, should any of their daughters decide to pursue the sex industry once they’re adults, she wouldn’t have an issue with it.
“Especially being parents now, of daughters and stuff like that, obviously I wouldn’t want them doing p0rn, but if they want to take spicy photos [because] they feel really good about themselves,” she said. “With our girls we talk about body parts all the time. Taking about sex and stuff like that shouldn’t be looked down upon because it’s a natural thing.”
Tyler recently revealed that he and Catelynn shut down his lucrative OnlyFans page out of concern that it was a reason that their bio daughter Carly’s parents were cutting off contact with them. But before that, Tyler had defended his decision to put his sexy photos online. In 2023, Farrah publicly called Tyler a “hypocrite” for starting an OnlyFans after shaming her adult industry offerings years ago. She took to Instagram Live at the time to give her thoughts on Tyler displaying his [girl] baby-maker on the pay site (among other body parts.)
Farrah claimed that it was unfair that she fired from ‘Teen Mom OG’ due to her adult industry activities, but other ‘Teen Mom’ stars who have done adult industry work since then are still on the show.
“They’re on the same platforms that I’m on, yet I’m the only one that got fired!” Farrah said.

At the time, Tyler disagreed with Farrah, stating that what he was posting to OnlyFans was very different from what Farrah had done.
“To be fair, I’m NOT doing p0rn at all!” Tyler wrote. “Cate is just sharing the stuff that I personally send to her lol! There’s no sex involved or even videos on the page she’s running. I didn’t go to a p0rn production company, hire adult film stars & crew, have sex on camera, pretend that it was some ‘leaked’ personal footage, or make genital molds to sell…But I get why some people are comparing it to my former cast member’s endeavors TBH & that’s totally valid! I just wanted to clarify what type of content is actually being shared on there in case anyone thought otherwise.”
