Patrik Allvin and the Canucks' management will have lots of work to do heading into this off-season, with eleven contracts to renew or replace.
The 6 foot 8 giant Tyler Myers, a veteran who's been with the team for the last five years, is bound to be a free agent when July 1st comes. Myers has been hating on ever since he got to Vancouver, mainly because Jim Benning inked him to a 5-year deal worth $30M, a contract Myers was never able to live up to.

Despite it all, when Rick Tocchet and his staff came in, Myers finally found his niche and played an essential part in the team's success during the playoffs.
His agent, JP Barry, was on Donnie and Dhalie earlier today and was allowed to talk about what Myers' future might look like, and by the looks of it, Myers isn't planning to move elsewhere. Barry made it clear that they had informed the Canucks of their willingness to renew this partnership, and the ball is now in their camp:
‘'They know we want to be there, but I think they have other priorities first. Tyler likes the city and speaks highly of the coaching staff.''
