Tom Ball shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent in 2022.
Tom Ball, a finalist from Britain's Got Talent in 2022, is barely recognisable today.
The former teacher, aged 27, catapulted to fame on the ITV variety show, impressing judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon with his rendition of Sam Smith's Writing's on the Wall.
He secured a place in the final with his performance of Tom Jones' I (Who Have Nothing), ultimately finishing third behind winner Axel Blake and second-place Jamie Leahey.
The following year, Tom participated in America's Got Talent: All Stars, before returning to the UK version to voice Noodle The Cat in 2023.
Since his rise to fame, Tom has embarked on a full-time career in music recording and production. He has travelled globally, released his own album, and completed his debut tour last year.
However, Tom's career has undergone significant changes, as has his personal life.

Recently, he disclosed that he has altered his diet and fitness routine to enhance his health, following a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune condition where the pancreas ceases to produce insulin needed to regulate blood glucose levels.
After posting updates on social media and unveiling a new hairstyle, he commented: "It was purely that I want to feel better. I want to be able to stand on stage and not get tired. I wanna be able to sing better.
"I just want to be healthier and, subsequently, you know, you end up looking a little bit better, and I had a haircut. It was a really nice moment."
In a candid chat with The Mirror, he revealed his current health regime, which includes monitoring his diet and hitting the gym four times a week to "get back into full health" in preparation for an "exciting" year ahead.

Last year, Tom expressed his gratitude for the transformative effect Britain's Got Talent has had on his life.
"I've been so fortunate, and I feel such a deep connection with Britain's Got Talent and America's Got Talent," he shared with Metro.
He credited the show for altering his life "overnight," providing him with fame, a platform, and a wealth of opportunities, including his first record deal and tour.
“It changed my life overnight, because suddenly I was known and I had this platform, and I was so incredibly lucky to have this platform.
“And it gave me the opportunity to seek other opportunities, to sign my first record deal, to go on my first tour.
“And also, it does sound a little bit corny, but without it, I probably wouldn’t have my family right now, because with the pregnancy we had to go through IVF treatment, and for anyone that’s been through IVF knows it’s a rollercoaster.”

Tom and his wife Hannah, who have been together for a decade, recently welcomed their daughter Adeline in January.
He took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their daughter, expressing their overwhelming joy.
"We're absolutely bursting with love, and the middle name 'Hope' reflects everything our little miracle has given us throughout a long, difficult journey."
He concluded by sharing how IVF has transformed their lives and their gratitude for their "beautiful little girl".
"IVF has now changed our life, and we're so thankful to have our beautiful little girl. Honestly, it's our dream come true."
Britain's Got Talent airs Saturday at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
