DIVORCE PLANNING?
The U.S. Sun reported that Brock signed an Interspousal Transfer Grant Deed that essentially means he agreed to have the home completely in Scheana's name as her sole and separate property.
After speaking with a Los Angeles-based family law attorney, The U.S. Sun has learned that this specific legal document could mean that the couple is bankruptcy planning or divorce planning since it's not something all California couples sign when purchasing new property.
"The interspousal transfer grant deed is just a fancy name for quitclaim deed for married couples," attorney Goldie Schon explained.
"Usually when a spouse signs this, it is part of an agreement and a divorce.
"In Scheana and Brock's case, it might be that they're divorce planning."
SCHEANA SPEAKS OUT
While on Jeff Lewis' podcast on February 22, Scheana spoke out addressing Brock's grant deed transfer.
"It was just, I put the down payment down, and he was like, 'You know what? The next property that we buy together, both of our names will be on,'" she revealed.
"But for now, I am the breadwinner and he respects that."
She continued, "I mean, it's our family home. He's the one doing all of the work over there right now. I'm not doing s**t. I'm just paying the mortgage."
Jeff then asked, "And he's not after you for your money?"
"No and we have a prenup. I mean, he knew what happened in our first marriage, so when we got married, he didn't even question anything," Scheana replied.
"He was like, 'Whatever you want. I want to be with you because I want to be with you. I don't care about anything else.
"So whatever's going to make you feel the most safe, I will sign whatever you need to.'"
