Vanessa was the second star eliminated from the 2013 edition of the BBC competition
Vanessa Feltz has revealed to her former Strictly Come Dancing dance partner that she ‘passionately fell in love’ with him during her time on the BBC show.
The admission came on the second episode of the former This Morning host’s new Channel 5 daytime talkshow, with former Coronation Street icon Helen Flanagan serving as her first guest on Monday (March 24).
Vanessa appeared on Strictly back in 2013, where she was paired with professional dancer James Jordan. Sadly they were the second couple to be eliminated from the series which was won by model Abbey Clancy.
In Tuesday’s edition (March 25) of Vanessa, the presenter and James, who was joined by his wife Ola Jordan, looked back on their short stint on the programme.
With James joking it was ‘actually really romantic’, Vanessa left him and Ola stunned with a candid admission about her catching feelings for him.
"It was actually very lovely and I would say for a really heady and insane magical… You don't know what I am going to say, do you?
“Look at him he's looking like he doesn't know what I am going to say For an insane 24 to 48 hours I fell passionately in love with him,” she said.

Vanessa added: "I had a partner at the time and I was happy in my relationship, ish. But I fell passionately in love with him."
Looking back on being introduced to Ola, Vanessa said she came away from the experience thinking dancing is ‘ridiculous but there is something intoxicating’ about it.
Bewildered by Vanessa’s confession, James asked her: "Did you fall in love with me?"
She replied: “Cause I did, for about 48 hours. Only 48 hours, but I did though and I remember you came to do my radio show at the BBC and I remember you walked out and my heart was going and I was 50 and I was about to be a grandmother…
“I was thinking, I love him, I love him. Then I thought ‘oh come on this is ridiculous, grow up don't be an idiot’."
Elsewhere in the interview, Vanessa said she ‘couldn't prove it’ but believed the show’s bosses paired her and James together in the hopes they would clash.
They didn't pair us together because they thought we were the best couple. It is my view and we can't prove it but there are marinations going on.
"They could be looking for friction and fireworks. I think they paired me with James because they thought we'd be at loggerheads,” she claimed.
