Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Vanessa Grimaldi on Season 21 of “The Bachelor.” Since her time on the show, Vanessa found love off-screen and married Josh Wolfe.
The two tied the knot on August 20, 2021, and welcomed their first child, Winston, together in September 2022.
Last year, Vanessa shared the tragic news that she experienced pregnancy loss after getting asked about when she’s going to have another baby.
And earlier this year, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that she has heartbreakingly experienced her second pregnancy loss.
Now, Vanessa is opening up about what it’s like to receive constant questions about if she wants another child while going through grief.
In a video she posted, she’s seen being asked, “When are you going to have more kids?” followed by “At least your miscarriages happened early, so you shouldn’t be too sad.”
Alongside the video, Vanessa wrote, “Before you ask someone how far along they were in their pregnancy after a miscarriage, pause and ask yourself: Why do I need to know? In my experience, that question often isn’t about understanding - it’s about deciding how sympathetic/understanding they should be.”
She continued on saying, “But loss is loss. Pain is pain. You don’t get to measure someone’s grief with a calendar. ❤️🩹 Whether your loss happened early or later, whether you’ve shared it openly or carried it quietly in your heart, it’s real. Your grief is valid. Your experience matters.”
Many fans commented on Vanessa’s post sharing similar experiences and thanked her for being so honest and vulnerable.
We are keeping Vanessa and her family in our thoughts as they navigate their grief, and we’re sending her so much love.
