Jax Taylor has been in the news quite a bit recently thanks to his drama with Brittany Cartwright. Now, he’s being called out online after a fan purchased a Cameo video from The Valley star that he clearly put minimal effort into.
Comments on the fan’s post range from questioning why anyone wanted a video from the troubled star to others saying this behavior is right up his alley.
For those who don’t know, Cameo is a platform where fans can purchase personalized videos from celebrities. The celebrity sets the price, and fans give them the guidelines for the video. According to the platform, Jax charges $128 or more for his videos, which are usually a little over three minutes long. He currently has a 4.94 rating on the platform based on 704 reviews.
Recently, a person who posts on TikTok under the name Scarletteve.mua took to the platform to discuss their experience of receiving a Cameo from Jax. Sadly, the video did not meet their expectations. The post reads, “I need the world to know my boyfriend paid an ungodly amount for a Jax cameo, and he sent a 2-minute video where I can understand maybe 3 words.”
The post contains the Cameo video, and they are correct — you can barely hear anything Jax is saying. In the video, he’s standing in a parking lot, looking as though he decided to film really quickly before getting into a car. His voice seems to be muted, and music plays over what he’s saying.
Naturally, one would assume celebrities selling Cameo videos would do a quality check before sending them, but it seems Jax failed to do this. So far, the TikTok video has more than 50,000 likes and over 1,000 comments. Hopefully, Jax gets word of this and makes things right for the fan and their boyfriend who bought the video.
Regarding the comments, one of the best said, “This is the most him thing ever.”
Someone else explained what probably happened by saying, “His phone being synced up to his car, and he’s outside. Omg I’m DYING.” Someone else said, “Not your (amazing) bf getting Jax’d!”
Fans can watch Jax on The Valley on Peacock.
