Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has come to an end now that all three parts of the reunion have aired. Now, Shamea Morton has taken to social media to issue an apology to her cast members. Notably, this comes after she feuded with Porsha Williams, Drew Sidora, and Angela Oakley, among others.
Shamea, 43, wasn’t new to longtime fans of the show as she has appeared as a friend in prior seasons. However, she became a peach holder ahead of season 16. She became a fan favorite early on, but the fans’ love quickly disappeared as the season continued to air.
Shamea took to her YouTube page ahead of the final part of the RHOA reunion and posted a video called Dear Sweet 16. One of the most notable parts of the lengthy video showed her apologizing to her castmates.
She began, “Okay, well guys, with that being said, my elders in my family, they never steered me wrong, so I just want to start by saying to all of the ladies on the sweet 16 cast, starting with Porsha, Drew, Angela, Brit, Kenya, Cynthia, Kelli, I’m sorry.”
Shamea continued, “If I missed anybody, I’m sorry. Phaedra, even, coming in at the end, I’m sorry. If I’ve ever offended you. If I’ve made you feel less than or inferior. If I’ve insulted you or hurt you in any way, I’m sorry, and I hope that we can start fresh, and I wish you nothing but the best. And that prayer, I hope it leaves this room and enters into your heart and in your household. And that’s a wrap on sweet 16.”
Of course, this comes as reports have surfaced that filming for RHOA season 17 will begin toward the end of August, with all of the season 16 cast returning in some capacity.
