“Wait till I show Bill!” – RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin shuts down explosive divorce rumors with savage clapback after claims husband ‘whisked mistress to St. Barts’

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin shut down speculation that she is divorcing husband Bill Aydin.

Jennifer, 48, laughed off the latest rumors about her marriage by sharing an Instagram post that claimed she’d “officially filed for divorce” from Bill, 52, while he “whisked [his] mistress away on [a] romantic getaway to St. Barts.”

“Fake news people – wait till I show Bill,” Jennifer wrote via Instagram on Saturday, June 14.

Jennifer previously posted numerous photos and videos showing herself and Bill laughing and dancing while attending a family event over the weekend. The RHONJ star also recently penned a heartfelt birthday tribute to her husband when he turned 52 on June 2.

“Celebrating my baby’s bday today,” she wrote via Instagram. “Happy Birthday, my love – we’re in it for the long haul, no matter what. Yeah, Bill! Let’s all wish Bill a Happy Birthday! And give him a follow.”

The Aydins’ marriage has been a controversial topic on The Real Housewives of New Jersey throughout Jennifer’s six seasons on the Bravo show.

Jennifer’s RHONJ nemesis Margaret Josephs revealed on the show in 2022 that Bill had an affair more than a decade earlier. Instead of shying away from the allegations, the Aydins confirmed Bill had been unfaithful but insisted they’d worked through their issues.

Jennifer later exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2022 that she found out about Bill’s infidelity when she was nine months pregnant with their youngest son, Christian. (Jennifer and Bill share five children: son Justin, daughter Gabby, son Jacob, son Christian and daughter Olivia.)

“I found out pretty much 10 days before I had Christian,” she recalled. “So, you know, I was going through the process of letting it sink in while having to have a baby and wanting my baby to have all of the blessings that a normal child would, like having his mommy and his daddy in the delivery room. So I wanted to go through the motions of playing this game of life, so to speak, to try to put on a brave face for my children.”

Jennifer admitted to Us at the time that she had “no idea” anyone in her RHONJ circle knew about Bill’s affair because she’d been so secretive about it over the years.

“I thought nobody would ever find out. … I never told anybody,” Jennifer said. “Nobody knew — [not] my mother, my sister, my best friend, my cousin. Like, when I say I was taking it to the grave, I kept that secret inside. And it was very hard for me to do, and I was able to do it for the greater good of my family.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey later showcased additional strain in the Aydins’ marriage when Bill started spending lots of time alone in their pool house after coming home from work.

Bill eventually promised to make more time for his family, with Jennifer even jokingly telling Us in 2023 that she was now spending more time in the pool house than her husband.

“I’ve taken over. It’s my pool house. It’s your pool? It’s my pool house,” Jennifer teased her husband. “I’m always in there. I make my phone calls in there late at night and it’s like our little getaway from home, actually.”

RHONJ has been on a filming pause following its contentious 14th season. Andy Cohen confirmed in June that RHONJ was finally moving forward with season 15 despite the ongoing family feud between mainstays Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga.

“It was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be,” Cohen confirmed on The View. “It’s a great franchise, and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.”
