The No. 1 guy in the group is coming clean.
Jax Taylor disclosed the lie he told past partners when he was unable to perform in bed.
The “Valley” star, 45, said in Thursday’s episode of his “In the Mind of a Man” podcast that when he knew he was not “gonna get there,” he would “stop [the hookup] early” so he would not “insult” women.
Jax Taylor admitted to lying to women when he couldn’t perform in bed.
The “Vanderpump Rules” alum told past partners, “I really, really like you. I don’t think we should do this right now.”
He said on his “In the Mind of a Man” podcast that the lie made him seem “sweet.”
Taylor admitted he would say, “You know what? I really, really like you. I don’t think we should do this right now.”
He explained, “It takes the pressure off me. … And then they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s so sweet.’ I would rather her tell her friends, ‘He was so sweet. He wanted to wait.’ Rather than, ‘He can’t.'”
The “Vanderpump Rules” alum believes the latter was “a little more embarrassing.”
Taylor called it the less “embarrassing” option.
He labeled himself a “walking red flag” in last week’s episode.
Taylor’s podcast guest, sex therapist Dr. Emily Morse, praised the former SUR bartender for using an excuse that would “make [women] feel good.”
The Bravolebrity often speaks candidly about his love life on the podcast, explaining last week why he is “not gonna date” as a self-proclaimed “walking red flag.”
He claimed at the time that cheaters never change and called infidelity a “natural thing” to him.
The “Valley” star is currently navigating a divorce from Brittany Cartwright.
The estranged pair are co-parenting son Cruz.
“The only time I’ve never cheated is in my marriage,” he said of estranged wife Brittany Cartwright, to whom he was unfaithful prior to their 2019 wedding.
The former couple welcomed son Cruz, now 3, in 2021 and have been navigating a custody battle since separating in early 2024.
Cartwright filed for divorce that August and received full legal and physical custody of the little one the following month.
The duo separated last year.
Fans can watch the fallout on the upcoming season of their Bravo series.
Since their breakup, Taylor has made headlines for reveals about his bipolar disorder and PTSD diagnoses, his narcissistic personality and his sobriety from cocaine.
Cartwright, 36, expressed doubt about her estranged husband’s sustained recovery in a “skeptical” statement to People in March.
“His behaviors are still alarming, and his treatment plan seems to be the bare minimum,” she said before calling their co-parenting dynamic a “very difficult … challenge.”
The duo, who got together in 2015, will showcase their drama on Season 2 of “The Valley,” which premieres April 15 on Bravo.
Taylor recently made headlines for revealing his sobriety post-cocaine addiction.
Cartwright is “skeptical” about her ex’s recovery.
The show’s trailer last month showed Cartwright accusing Taylor of secretly recording her in her home.
In addition to her ex allegedly “watching” her, she said, “Jax has been seeing people. He had a girl staying here at the house again last night. There is a thong on my bathroom sink.”
As for her own love life, news broke of Cartwright “casual” fling with Taylor’s pal Julian Sensley in October 2024.
