This year's Love Island Casa Amor recoupling has gone down as one of the most chaotic in the show's history, with a record eight new pairings formed after a long line of heads were turned.
Heading into the show's famous twist, not one couple had declared themselves, meaning it was all to play for as the boys, and girls, were met with temptation from a string of bombshells.
For viewers it meant a shocking number of splits and new pairings were formed, no doubt leaving producers scrambling to find enough beds to fit all of the new couples.
With host Maya Jama ready and waiting, the girls were asked to choose whether they'd like to stick with their male partner, or recouple with one of the new boys.
Up first was Billykiss Azeez, who having been in a friendship pair with Giorgio Russo, quickly declared she would be recoupling with Boris Vidović.
In a surprise move, Giorgio then revealed he'd chosen to return to the villa alone, admitting that while he had been exploring a connection with Yaz Broom, there was 'something missing' between them.

While he was declared single, he insisted there was no ill will towards Billykiss.
Meg Moore was next, having previously expressed doubts to the other girls that Dejon Noel-Williams would stay loyal in Casa Amor, given his reluctance to make things exclusive between them.
Going with her heart, Meg chose to stick, and she was thrilled to be reunited with a solo Dejon as he returned to the villa.
Next to choose was Toni Laites, who admitted she was conflicted over whether to stick with Harrison, convinced that he hadn't been loyal to her in Casa Amor when judging by his past behaviours.
Putting herself first, Toni declared she would be recoupling with Cach Mercer, and her guesses that Harrison would do the same were proven correct just minutes later.
Harrison returned to the villa with his new partner Lauren, with things visibly frosty between him and Toni as they were reunited.
After a rocky ride in the villa, Shakira Khan eagerly said she would be recoupling, having been in a friendship, or sorts, with Ben.
Choosing Ty Isherwood as her new man, it was revealed that Ben had done the same, and he returned to the villa with Andrada Pop.

Next to make her choice was Helena Ford, and as she had only recently been recoupled with Harry Cooksley, she quickly shared her hopes he'd stayed loyal

It was a surprise to some that Harry opted against exploring connections in Casa Amor, and he and Helena were one of just two original couples, who survived the show's famous twist

Yasmin Pettet also shared she would be recoupling with Jamie Rhodes, and it was revealed that her previous partner Conor Phillips had done the same, returning to the villa with Emma Munro

Yasmin Pettet also shared she would be recoupling with Jamie Rhodes, and it was revealed that her previous partner Conor Phillips had done the same, returning to the villa with Emma Munro.
Given the early stages of Conor and Yasmin's prior romance, there was no bad blood over their move to recouple, though Emma didn't hold back as she dropped a few snarky comments about her ex Harry.

Last to make her choice was Emily Moran, and after growing close to Tommy Bradley in the villa, she admitted she was hoping to stay loyal to him

But Tommy appeared to replicate the behaviour of his ex Megan Forte Clarke, as he left Emily by returning to the villa with Lucy Quinn.

The reveal left Wednesday's episode, and its lengthy recoupling, on a dramatic cliffhanger, with Emily stunned to see Tommy's head had been turned.
Elsewhere, it's been revealed that one of Love Island's longest-serving couples have split after two years together.
Zachariah Noble and Molly Marsh first sparked a romance during season 10 of the show in 2023, after Zachariah, 28, caught the stunner's attention while she was initially coupled up with Mitch Taylor.
But after a turbulent two years together - including a brief split last year - the couple have ended their relationship.
Molly, 23, took to Instagram on Wednesday to confirm the news, writing: 'I just want to confirm the rumours. Myself and Zac have split up and are no longer together.
'We have parted ways as friends and thank you all for your love and support of our relationship over the past 2 years.'
A source close to the couple told The Sun: 'Nothing bad has happened between Zac and Molly. They just made a decision to split on a mutual basis.
'The pair have no bad blood between them and will continue to be friends.
'Sometimes relationships work, and sometimes they don't but they want to continue to be friends and cherish the couple of years they have spent together and are both grateful for Love Island bringing them into each other's lives.'
The couple previously split in March 2024, but rekindled their romance just a couple of months later during a brand trip Down Under.
