Three games into the New York Rangers’ season Artemi Panarin and Alexis Lafrenière cannot be stopped.
In the first period of the Rangers’ game against the Detroit Red Wings Panarin used his shifty puck handling skills and blazing speed to enter the zone and find Lafrenière who buried the puck past the five hole of Alex Lyon for the first goal of the night.
Panarin already has two goals, three assists and five points to start the year as he’s been dominating play.
At 32-years-old, there are no signs of Panarin slowing down and believe it or not he seems to only be getting better.
Meanwhile, Lafrenière has recorded two goals, two assists and four points.
Coming off of his best statistical season, Lafrenière is starting to live up to his first overall pick expectations and is beginning to blossom into a superstar before our eyes.
