Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Noah Hanifin called the recent stretch of play “fun.”

Why wouldn’t it be? The Golden Knights have won eight of nine and have been on fire for the last month, including a 3-1 victory against the Buffalo Sabres at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday.

“It’s good to see we can win in a bunch of different ways as well,” Hanifin said. “We’re one of those teams that when we can get a lead for the most part. We can keep it, which is a really good sign for later in the year when it really matters. So, just keep building on that. No matter the score, winning or losing, we just want to play the right type of hockey. We’ve done a good job of that. We’ve got a lot of good leadership in here and guys keeping us accountable and making sure, no matter the score or the situation, we’re playing the right way.”

The Golden Knights are 10-2-3 in one-goal games; 7-1 in two-goal games and 10-6 in three-goal games. They’ve proved they can win in a variety of ways, whether it’s a high-scoring up and down affair or a grind-it-out type of game.

Just as impressive: the Golden Knights have 13 come-from-behind victories this season, making them a team you can never count out of any situation.

It’s all trending well for the Golden Knights. They hope this run will propel them to bigger things in the spring and early summer.
