The Lazy Generation are a group of daredevil athletes known for their extreme - and painful - stunts.

Sam Lloyd - known as Sam Does Stupid online - is one of the group's members.

In a YouTube clip from ten years ago, he can be seen dressed as an astronaut and stood on top of a building in a park.

In a stunt that should never be copied at home, Sam then dangerously jumps from the building onto a exercise ball but misses it.

He is seen screaming in pain as his friend rushes over to him.

Paramedics arrive and have to stretcher him off to hospital and it's revealed he has broken his back.

SHOCK ACT

At the weekend, Britain's Got Talent viewers watched in horror as Sam and his group The Lazy Generation undertook a series of very dangerous stunts.

Their audition featured a series of painful challenges that left both the judges and the audience wincing.

In one shocking moment, a member of the group took a running leap and landed on his teammates as they lay on the floor, in what they called a "human long jump".

The act then escalated when Simon Cowell snapped a huge elastic band across the bare chests of two performers, before Ant and Dec took things further by doing the same to another's buttocks.

The group also attempted to run on a treadmill while dodging obstacles, including plastic party balls, toy soldiers, and LEGO bricks - only to fall straight into a row of cacti.

By the end of the routine, the performers were visibly battered and bruised, with cuts on their knees and cactus spikes sticking in their feet.

But the judges were won over by their antics, with Alesha Dixon branding them "genius" and Amanda Holden saying she "loved it".

VIEWER OUTRAGE

However, viewers at home were less impressed, with many questioning why producers had allowed such a reckless performance on prime-time TV.

One shocked fan wrote: What on earth were the producers and judges thinking of putting this dangerous, silly and painful act on TV? I mean kids might try this even though it would be stupid just my opinion anyway."

Another asked: "How the heck is this talent?" while a third raged: "I’m on the verge of switching off!"

One more seethed: "Middle aged men getting their bare a***s out in front of children on a family tv show."

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT FAME

The Lazy Generation previously competed in the 2022 series of America's Got Talent, reaching the semi-final.

Simon instantly recognised them as they walked out on-stage, telling Alesha, "These guys auditioned in America."

They also had their own TV show on Comedy Central and boast 90k Instagram followers, making them far from unknowns in the world of extreme stunts.
