"We Coming for Reid's Ass": 'Chicago P.D.' Star Teases Season 12 Finale

Two storylines remain at the forefront as Chicago P.D. races towards the Season 12 finale. Deputy Chief Reid (Shawn Hatosy) finally showed his true colors, and Voight (Jason Beghe) is not happy with being used. As a result, the team sets their sights on knocking him off the board for good.

The season ends with a two-part finale, and Reid is the target. "We coming for Reid’s ass," series star Toya Turner told TV Line about what viewers can expect in the season's ender. "And there’s going to be a wedding, and it’s going to be a good time. That’s all I can say," she added, confirming that the much-awaited Burzek wedding is happening this season. Even with the Reid threat looming, Turner teased a happy finale, saying:

“I wish I could tell you more, like, about how [Burgess] looks, but she looks gorgeous. It was fun to shoot that, not just as the last episode, but also, we shot that on the last day of the shooting schedule, and it was nice to all be together.”

Reid has proven resourceful in his short time brushing against Intelligence, and taking him down won't be a walk in the park. "As things escalate and Reid shows himself to be a formidable opponent, Voight finds himself battling his own instincts," showrunner Gwen Sigan said, teasing a tense showdown as both men try to gain the upper hand. The season finale is titled “Vows,” teasing the Burzek wedding. “Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Burgess’ (Marina Squerciati) wedding fast approaches, Chapman (Sara Bues) grows closer to Voight, and Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) faces the emotional fall-out of his actions," the showrunner added.
