Since joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey for Season 7 in 2016, Dolores Catania has always sported extra-long dark brunette tresses. Though the New Jersey native has experimented with honey-blonde or caramel-colored highlights over the years (more on that below), she's typically remained a dark brunette.
How to Watch
Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Peacock and Bravo.
That's why our jaws dropped when we saw this throwback photo of Dolores and her ex-husband, Frank Catania, in their younger years. While Frank was rocking a '70s-style thick mustache, Dolores wore super long curls in a lighter, honey-blonde hue.
Honestly we love the lighter shade on Dolores and wonder if she'll try out a blonder look in the future.

Earlier in January, Dolores shared her experience on Instagram Stories about getting her hair done at hairstylist Izabella Szlanta's Bella's Beauté Studio in Edgewater, New Jersey, showing off an updated look.

The New Jersey mom revealed she was having 24-inch extensions from Frame & Thread Extensions put in, which were woven into her hair. The extensions featured a root melt with beige highlights, creating a brunette balayage effect. Her stylist then brushed out the long extensions, showing off their glamorous length from the back.
Dolores Catania's recent Renuvion cosmetic procedure
In addition to her hair, Dolores also had a Renuvion procedure done in the fall of 2024 (Renuvion is a "body contouring technology" that "treats loose skin" and Dolores had the procedure done around her knees.)
"For a long time now I've been looking for something for skin tightening," Dolores shared in an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish in November 2024. "Anybody who's been doing plastic surgery as long as I have, I have to say, I'm pretty lucky — except for the fact that back when we were getting liposuction years ago, no one warned us about the loose skin that would follow it."
After meeting with Dr. Joshua Zuckerman of Zuckerman Plastic Surgery, Dolores was able to treat the area around her knees she was always "very self conscious" about.
"Well, I've always thought about it. So, a lot of people carry their weight in different places. I carry my weight in my thighs and my legs and I've always been very self-conscious. So, this has been a really long time coming for me to find the right procedure that would fix it," she shared. "Dr. Zuckerman is very cheery; he's very upbeat. He was very honest. I trusted him, his credentials were there. He's board-certified. You really have to do your homework on a doctor before you go to him, and my biggest thing is he does this procedure on most of his patients, so that's the thing. A doctor that does something time and time again, if you do something enough, you get good at it."
