Wedding Bells? Love Island Champ Drops Hints About ‘Intimate’ Engagement with ITV Star!

Love Island's 'hottest-ever couple' have spoken about their engagement plans.

Molly Smith and Tom Clare first met on Love Island All Stars last year and ended up winning the first series of the show, which saw a bunch of Islanders return for a second shot of love.

A year on, the pair, who are best mate's with this year's winners Casey and Gabby, are living with one another. The couple have now shared their future plans with us as they made an appearance as brand ambassadors at the Gtech AirRAM 3 Launch event, at the Soho Hotel in London.

Tom opened up about how plans to propose during an "intimate" setting when the time is right for the stunning couple. Tom shared: "I think with mine and Mol’s future, we’re going to be with each other for the rest of our lives and one day I’m going to put a ring on her finger.

"Nobody will know when I will do it though. It’s such an intimate thing and I wouldn’t be with Molly if I didn’t want to put a ring on her finger."

Molly added: "Yeah, it’s just in our own time isn’t it. We don’t want to put pressure on anything. We’re happy with how things are going. I think we want to do a bit of travelling before so we’re not in any mad rush or anything like that."

As viewing figures plummet this year for Love Island, we were also keen to know whether they think the show has had it's day. Bot the ITV alum stood by the show and believe it's got plenty in the tank.

Tom said: "I think Love Island still has such a big viewing and people still absolutely love it. I think the original Love Island, when you see people you’ve never seen before on your screen, growing as people is really nice to see new faces. I think with All Stars they could add a Casa Amour."

Before Molly: "Yeah that could be quite a good one to stir it up a little bit. But I think All Stars is only on its second series so I think it’s still fresh and new."

The couple are now focusing on their home renovation and shared an update of how that's going for them. Molly explained: "At the minute we’re really focusing on the house renovation, which is why working at Gtech came at such a great time. Obviously the Gtech Combi Drill and Impact Driver have been put to good use. It’s going well!

"We’ve just finished the kitchen and the gym is being started, and then it’s on to the extension! It’s ticking one room off at a time but we love it and are really enjoying having a reno project together."
