On Monday, June 9, The Young and the Restless brings intense moments with Sharon grappling with Mariah’s struggles, Phyllis plans big moves, and Mariah faces the weight of her past. Tessa also continues to fight for Mariah’s trust while Phyllis pushes forward with her own agenda.

Sharon (Sharon Case) sat at home, holding a photo of Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and her family, clearly worried about her daughter. Nick (Joshua Morrow) showed up to discuss their planned trip to France, but Sharon admitted she couldn’t leave while Mariah was in so much pain.

Sharon suspected something traumatic had happened to Mariah, but her daughter refused to share any details. Sharon didn’t think she could go away.

Mariah Opens Up to Tessa

In the park, Mariah struggled with overwhelming guilt. She admitted to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) that the memories of Ian (Ray Wise) were haunting her, and the guilt was unbearable.

Mariah confessed that during her trip, she fell apart and even turned to drinking to cope. The weight of her past, especially Ian’s obsession with her, had overwhelmed her, and she couldn’t handle it alone.

Phyllis Pushes Ahead with Dumas Plans

At the GCAC, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) told Daniel (Michael Graziadei) about her invitation to the Dumas event in France. Despite Daniel’s concerns that Dumas could be trouble, Phyllis was determined to go and make a big impact.

She planned to gather information and use it to her advantage, while Daniel worried it could all backfire. He worried that Phyllis might end up disappointed once again.

Tessa Presses Mariah for the Truth

Tessa urged Mariah to open up, sensing the pain she was hiding. Mariah finally broke down, revealing her shame and guilt over what had happened with Ian.

She confessed that everything had come rushing back during her trip, and she couldn’t stop thinking about the destruction Ian caused. Tessa promised her that she was safe now and urged her to take the first step in moving forward.

Mariah recalled an intimate moment with a man while intoxicated but quickly pulled away from the memory, unable to fully process what had happened. Tessa urged her to be honest so they could move forward together.

Mariah Snaps at Daniel

Later, Mariah stormed into Crimson Lights, clearly upset. When Daniel asked if she was okay, Mariah snapped, telling him it was none of his business.

Tessa followed, trying to comfort her, but Mariah lashed out at her too, telling her to leave her alone. Tessa was left devastated, unsure of how to help her wife.

Christine and Danny Return Home

Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Danny (Michael Damian) made their return to Genoa City. They chatted with Nick and Sharon at Crimson Lights.
