Who will survive the blood bath?
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 9 saw Liam, Sheila, and Luna rushed into surgery as Steffy prayed for her ex’s survival.
It was a blood bath at the beach house and things quickly went from bad to worse. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) got off lucky with an injured foot but Liam (Scott Clifton) and Luna (Lisa Yamada) didn’t fare so well. Luna laid unconscious and unattended to while Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) struggled to keep Liam alive while waiting for help.
Thankfully, they succeeded in keeping Liam breathing…and Luna was still alive when the paramedics showed up too. Finn rescued Ms. Dylan (Sydney Bullock) from the closet and the sweet teacher was beside herself to see the destruction “Sunshine” caused. All the while, the police bagged the gun and started asking all the tough questions
Promises of Forever and Always
Over at the office, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) offered several promises to Hope (Annika Noelle). He vowed to stand by her side, be there for Beth, and be there for everyone else Liam loves when the poor man’s time comes to an end. Like Hope, he also prayed for Liam to have more time with his dear daughters and the rest of the family. Little did they know, Liam’s brain tumor may not be what takes him out. As they were talking about the impossible task of surviving his loss, Liam was being tended to by paramedics before being rushed to the hospital.
The Surgeons Scrubbed Up
Everything moved quickly once the ambulances reached the emergency room. Grace (Cassandra Creech) was shocked to see Liam rolled in…and more stunned that there were multiple victims. She grabbed Luna’s gurney and started working on her while Finn scrubbed up to take Liam to the OR. Li (Naomi Matsuda) arrived in the hallway as Steffy was spilling all the gory details to the cops and took over care of her niece and had Grace prepped Sheila for surger
The three victims were rolled into the respective operating rooms. Li got a helping hand from Bridget (Ashley Jones) and they worked to save Luna’s life. Grace was confident she’d get Sheila’s foot back to tip top shape. Finn had the most daunting task of helping Liam pull through this tragedy. As for Steffy, she was taken to the observation deck so she would watch Finn save her ex. Once there, she called Hope who rushed to get there.
