Oh, Luna…will you never learn?
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, June 11 saw Luna make a bold move, Hope pushing Liam too far, and Taylor giving her take on Loony Luna.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
In the office, Finn (Tanner Novlan) promised his wife he’ll protect her, no matter what. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) were pleased to hear that and touted him for being a great man. Taylor then began to analyze Luna (Lisa Yamada) and her terrible ways. It all stems back to her childhood trauma and is living in a delusion that she deserves a life with Finn. Ridge concurred. She’s lost touch with reality and is living in her head.
Taylor warned that Luna is on edge and not taking responsibility for any of her criminal actions. Taylor warned Luna was dangerous. More so than ever before. If she has her eyes set on Finn, everyone around him – especially Steffy – is in danger. Finn looked horrified and it hit him hard that his daughter is a monster.
After Finn left, Ridge opened up about his panic. Steffy promised to never let her guard down and she trusts Finn to keep her and the children safe. There’s no way he’d bring Luna into his family and risk her or the kid’s safety. While that was all fine and good, Ridge worried about what would happen when and if Luna decided she wasn’t taking no for an answer.
Mommie Dearest
Back at the apartment, Poppy (Romy Park) tried to talk sense into her daughter but no sense was to be had. Luna blamed Steffy…and Poppy…for ruining her life with Finn. Poppy apologized for not being the world’s greatest mom, but claimed everything she did was for Luna. That set Luna off. No, Poppy didn’t deserve any Mother-of-the-Year accolades. Not after all the moves, the instability, and the revolving door of men. As far as Luna was concerned, Poppy was just about the worst mother to ever exist.
Luna laid into Poppy for keeping her from Finn during her childhood…and whined about Steffy doing that same thing to her in adulthood. All she’s ever wanted was a dad and no one will allow her to live out her dream. And, to top it off, everyone is abandoning her. Her family, her friends, even Dollar Bill (Don Diamont)! Luna vowed to get her revenge…and to finally bond with her father…no matter who she has to stomp on along the way. You got that Penelope?!
Let Everyone Love You
Meanwhile, over at the Cliff House, Hope (Annika Noelle) paid Liam (Scott Clifton) a visit so he could fix her computer and she could give him a drawing from Beth. Liam opened up about his fears over dying and how much he wants to fight to stay before getting to work on Hope’s laptop and calling her out for using it as an excuse to check up on him. Hope didn’t deny. Hope promised to not use false pretences as long as Liam was there for as long as he possibly can. He was happy to agree to that.
Hope then pointed out how much Liam was enjoying her, Steffy, and Finn’s support and pushed him to tell the rest of his family about his situation. They had a right to know and he had a right to be surrounded by all the people who love him. Hope understood his reasoning and that it’s his decision, but she urged him to change his stance. Hope was lucky that Steffy told her and she can soak in this time with him. His father and brothers would give anything to do the same. All the Spencers deserved the gift of time…no matter how short that time is.
Liam balked. He knew how it would go if he told his dad. Bill would become unbearable and overbearing. While Hope didn’t see the problem with Bill stepping in and stepping up, Liam just wanted a quiet end to his life. That wasn’t good enough for Hope. Bill, Will (Crew Morrow), and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) should be there rallying around him, not being left in the dark, period.
Begging and Pleading
Later, Finn was home alone working when Luna showed up to beg for his love. She was happy to hear Steffy wasn’t home and she got to talk to her dad without Steffy. She jumped into blaming Steffy for their disconnect. She was sure that without Steffy around, Finn would finally show her love. She got quite the shock when Finn’s stance didn’t change. In fact, he doubled down and outright told her that she would never be part of his life, his family, or his world because of her own actions. She was a killer and murderers had no place in his circle.
