The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, June 3 saw Luna force her way into Steffy’s world, Sheila fessing up, and Taylor and Ridge taking some time for themselves.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Luna (Lisa Yamada) wasted no time letting Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) know that she knew they were alone – and warning her to not pick up her phone to make any calls. Steffy made it clear Luna was not welcome. She and Finn (Tanner Novlan) want nothing to do with her – especially Finn. Luna lost it. She pleaded with Steffy to let up and allow her to be part of her father’s life. She needs him. Steffy pointedly pointed out SHE was not the reason Finn didn’t want her. It’s Luna’s own actions that did that. Remember when you killed two people and tried to get rid of her, too. Yeah, that. Luna swore that “wasn’t her” and she wasn’t that girl anymore, however, her actions were screaming louder than words.
Steffy was done with the audacity and lectured Luna about blaming everyone but herself for her own circumstances. That went in one ear and out the other, though. Luna was convinced Steffy was the only thing in her way and begged her to either give her a chance or at least back off and let her and Finn be a family. Luna became a bit frantic and started pleading with Steffy but it did no good. Steffy was not falling for it.
As for Finn, he promised his mom he was done with Luna. Li (Naomi Matsuda) again urged him to make sure it stayed that way. He can not think of Luna as his daughter. He needs to think of her as the woman who tried to kill his wife. Finn was trying to do just that but his guilt for not being there all those years was eating away at him. If only he knew…maybe things would have turned out different for dear Luna. For Li, what’s done was done and there was no point in dwelling about it. What they need to do now is protect Steffy and the children. That’s where their attention needs to be.
By the time Finn went home, he found Steffy squaring off with Luna. He bolted into the room to be by his wife’s side and told Luna to get out. Didn’t she already agree to leave them alone? Instead of making her exit, Luna made an emotional plea to her dad. She just wanted a chance. Why won’t anyone give her that?!
The Problem(s) With Luna….
Meanwhile, Deacon (Sean Kanan) came home to find Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) lost in thought. He sat down beside her and pushed for him to tell her what was going on. Sheila decided to not hide her feelings and said she was thinking about her son and grandchild. Deacon assumed she meant Hayes and commented that he was proud of her for not getting into trouble for so long. He was a bit shocked to hear the little boy wasn’t the grandchild she was talking about. She was talking about Luna.
Deacon launched into a slander fest against Sheila’s grandchild and outright asked her if she had contact with Loony Luna. Sheila broke down and admitted she’s been meeting with Luna on the sly. Deacon was understandably shaken and quite upset.
Family Gossips
All the while, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) cancelled his meetings in lieu of a romantic afternoon with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). They flirted it up and Taylor soaked in all the love. She was happy to be back with him. She was the luckiest girl in the world. Well, the second luckiest. Their daughter struck gold when she found Finn. This led to the pair having an in-depth conversation about their daughter’s dreamy marriage. Ridge commented that their daughter deserved a vacation. One with her sweet husband and children.
Just look at everything their daughter has gone though. The pair reflected on all their daughter’s drama. They still couldn’t believe that Finn was Luna’s daughter – or that Bill (Don Diamont) got that monster a pardon. Little did they know, Steffy was at home facing off with her evil stepchild.
