Carter knows what and whom he wants…and it’s not Daphne Rose.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) was thrown by Hope’s (Annika Noelle) return to the office. To be fair, it was confusing. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) went from treating Hope like her mortal enemy to inviting her back to the inner circle. What is going on? Zende (Delon de Metz) didn’t have answers. He had all the same questions too. Daphne Rose did look on the bright side. Hope may be back at work but she’s not back with Carter (oh, how wrong she was). Daphne Rose was still under the impression Hope was looking for love elsewhere.
Returning to work wasn’t the only good thing happening in Hope’s life. She and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) had a heart to heart and truly talked things out. They agreed to put the past, including the coup, behind them and move forward together as a stronger, better couple. Soon after, Hope kissed him and left to check in at Forrester Creations and Carter called Daphne over.
Daphne Rose came to the loft optimistic about how this would play out. She apologized to Carter for his broken heart and assured him he’d find love again. She then wore her heart on her sleeve and flattered him to no end. Carter played it up for a hot minute and even let her admit she’s fallen in love before dropping the bomb. He’s a man in love, just not with her. He and Hope are together again.
One Heart, Two Women
Meanwhile, in the main office, Katie (Heather Tom) used a press release to try and push Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) back into Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) arms. Sure, yes, he’s with Taylor (Rebeca Budig) now but everyone knows he misses his Logan. She reminded him of his past with her sister and the love they shared. To his credit, Ridge shut Katie down. Yes, he is with Taylor – and that’s where he wants to be and where he’s going to stay.
Across the hall, Taylor waltzed into the design room to push all Brooke’s buttons. And, she did. And, Brooke pushed right back. Brooke teased Taylor about that moment she shared with Ridge on the runway but Taylor played it cool. Sure, Bridge had a moment but that’s all it was. Nothing more. Not then, not now, and maybe not ever again (sure).
Hope was beaming by the time she reached the design room but that smile turned sour when she saw the mood her mama was in. Meanwhile, Taylor slid over to the main office just in time to watch Katie leave. She joked about Katie lobbying on Brooke’s behalf and Ridge didn’t deny it.
