Mariah is in a big storyline on The Young and the Restless. She’s keeping a secret from her wife, Tessa, one that could possibly destroy their marriage. Mariah’s secret was a main focus of May Sweeps, but since then, she and Tessa haven’t been seen in weeks. So what happened to the couple? And will Mariah’s secret ever be revealed?
Mariah’s Hiding Something Huge
When Mariah (Camryn Grimes) returned from her business trip, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) sensed something was wrong. Mariah brushed it off as fatigue, but later confessed to Sharon (Sharon Case) that something bad had happened on the trip. Mariah didn’t reveal what her secret was, but said that Tessa could never know.
Although she’s trying to protect her wife from the truth, the guilt is eating Mariah alive. Distance is growing in Teriah’s marriage, and during an emotional conversation, Mariah admitted Ian’s (Ray Wise) reappearance reopened old trauma. Tessa wants to save her marriage and help Mariah through this ordeal, but Mariah won’t open up.
It’s been three weeks since the couple’s discussion, and they haven’t been appeared onscreen since. However, that will change soon.
Mariah’s Secret Comes Back to Haunt Her
