The sun is shining unseasonably hot, the drinks are flowing and all we need for it to truly feel like summer is a new season of Love Island. Thankfully it's just around the corner and we've got all the details of when to expect it on your telly.
The show is officially set to return this summer for its 10th anniversary year. Yep, that's right it's been a decade of our favourite dating series, and we are truly not deserving of this blessing.
So when does the show return? And what is there to know about Love Island season 13? Here's all the details.
What is the Love Island summer 2025 start date?
While ITV hasn't officially yet confirmed when Love Island will be starting, the show usually airs in the first two weeks of June, always on a Monday night at 9pm. This means that this year the show is likely to start on either Monday 2nd June or Monday 9th June.
Last year it began on 3rd June and the year before that on 5th June, so we'd place our bets that we'll see the show on 2nd June this year.
Who is hosting Love Island summer 2025?
She's back! Despite rumours circulating late last year that she had quit as the show's host, Maya Jama is officially returning to the villa to present this year's series.
Following rumours she had quit the series, Maya hopped onto her Instagram Stories in December 2024 to clear up any confusion, writing that she had already filmed promo for the winter version: "I will be presenting Love Island and have no plans to leave right now. I filmed promo a couple of days ago actually. Fake news is fake news-ing as usual.”
We can't wait to see Maya back in the villa this summer.
Where is the Villa?
While not officially confirmed, it does appear we will be returning to the same Love Island villa we've seen for the last few years in Mallorca. However, we expect like every other series, it will get a makeover ready for another summer of cracking on, pieing and my type on paper.
