When Will ‘Fire Country’ Seasons 2-3 Head to Netflix?

Fire Country season 1 was released on Netflix in select regions worldwide in 2024, including the US. While some areas of Netflix have already picked up season 2, Netflix in the US has yet to join them; however, that is confirmed to change over the summer. Here’s what we know about the release schedule for future seasons of Fire Country on Netflix.

When Will Fire Country Season Be On Netflix

In case you missed it, Netflix first licensed Fire Country in the United States back in August 2024 but added the series in a few other regions before that (such as Australia and Latin America, which picked it up on New Year’s Eve 2023), followed by additional territories like Eastern Europe in late 2024. As of mid-2025, over two dozen Netflix regions now carry the show.

According to the Netflix Engagement Reports, the show’s first season picked up 146.80 million hours watched on Netflix, which equates to 9.3M views.

The series, which feels particularly relevant now given the recent devastating Los Angeles wildfires, follows Bode Donovan, a young convict who finds new meaning by volunteering with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, helping battle deadly fires across the state. The show is currently midway through its third season on CBS and is expected to wrap up sometime this spring. Max Thieriot, Kevin Alejandro, Jordan Calloway, and Stephanie Arcila are among the main cast.

The show was recently picked up for a fourth season, with production set to begin in mid-July in its usual filming home of Vancouver and conclude in March 2026.

When will Season 2 of Fire Country be on Netflix? Where is it already on Netflix?

Netflix in many regions already carries the 10-episode second season (which was reduced from 22 episodes due to the Hollywood strikes). Most of those regions picked up the second season in or around the end of February or the beginning of March 2025.

Netflix in the United States will receive season 2 of Fire Country on August 1, 2025, we can reveal and will retain the license to the show through at least August 2027, according to our intel.

Netflix in other regions, such as France, the Netherlands, Poland, and a few other European territories, only picked up season 1 late last year and is expected to pick up season 2 later in 2025.

When will Fire Country season 3 be on Netflix?

While there’s absolutely no guarantee that Netflix will pick up season 3 of the show, which aired between October 2024 and April 2025, if the pattern we’ve seen so far holds, most regions of Netflix that carry the show should pick it up throughout 2026. We’d expect some of the international territories to pick it up earlier in the year, while Netflix in the US will get it sometime in the Summer.

What If You Can’t Wait?

We’ll update this post once more international release dates are announced. In the meantime, the only way to stream Fire Country seasons 2 and 3 immediately is via Paramount+, which offers next-day availability of new episodes as they premiere. Alternatively, new episodes can still be watched as they air on CBS.
