Gina Kirschenheiter stormed out of a conversation with Jennifer Pedranti on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. The real estate agent felt her career was sabotaged after she found out Jennifer was evicted from the home she set her up in. Meanwhile, Jennifer had relied on her ex-husband, William Pedranti to make the payments.
While the situation seemed dire at the time, Jennifer revealed a very different situation with Gina now.
Jennifer thinks she was “an outlet” for Gina’s frustration in her personal life
Despite Gina coming “so hard at me,” Jennifer exclusively told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that the duo have worked through their differences.
“I’ll say this –– Gina is a good girl, and we’ve that conversation now, and that’s not the spot we sit in today,” she said.
“If I would have only known she was going through this in her personal life, I didn’t know at the time. I don’t know if I was an outlet. I don’t know what it was. I’m sure there was genuine frustration for her. But yeah, Gina came hard for sure,” Jennifer added.
Indeed, and Jennifer was shocked. She felt grateful to Gina and thought they were on good terms.
“It’s hard to watch it because in the episode, I feel like I’m constantly going around like, ‘Oh yeah, Gina, helped me! Oh yeah Gina, helped me!’ And Gina’s so taken aback, personally, about me being evicted from the house. All I can say is that was a really hard time –– a really hard time,” Jennifer explained.
The yoga teacher was more concerned with being “in communication with the owner of the home.” It turns out that the homeowner was “great” and very sympathetic.
“That was important to me to maintain that for my friendship with Gina. So to be like, ‘Oh, I didn’t care?’ Oh God, I so cared! I would never take a woman’s career or go at another woman’s career. So watching that part was hard,” Jennifer said.
Jennifer took offense to Emily’s comments to Gina
The Bravolebrity was also shocked by Emily Simpson’s comment about providing for their kids by “swinging on a pole” if necessary during her conversation with Gina outside the cafe.
“What a dig, right? That was hurtful,” Jen reacted. “I always say I respect Emily, and I kind of look up to her as a woman. I find her to be very smart and successful, and she loves her husband, and she loves those kids. She’s a great mom. So to look up to someone and to be so cut, because I don’t have what you have or because I’m not in such a great spot, you know, doesn’t make me dumb.”
Jennifer insisted that being evicted did not make her “less than a woman” or “a mom.” She also said she had a full grasp of the situation.
“I am not afraid to hustle, and I am not afraid to work. And I would do anything for my kids. So that was not easy,” she concluded.
