It appears the Real Housewives of New York City stars are not on great terms with Brynn Whitfield after the season 15 finale.
Brynn, 39, and costar Ubah Hassan got into a massive fight during the RHONY cast trip to Puerto Rico during the finale, which aired on Tuesday, January 21. The tension bubbled over to include the rest of the cast and has continued even after they wrapped filming.
Ubah, 41, alleged during the episode that Brynn had slept with someone to get on RHONY. Brynn then revealed her past sexual assault to the cast, sharing that Ubah knew about her experience. This led to Ubah stating that she had no prior knowledge of the assault. Brynn eventually admitted she didn’t know if Ubah had “clocked it” when she revealed the trauma at an earlier time.
Brynn has since doubled down on her side of the story in an interview with Rolling Stone, released on Wednesday, January 22.
“It’s not right to assume that everyone remembers everything that you say all the time and then hold them accountable for that,” Brynn said, noting that she revealed the sexual assault to Ubah during an emotional phone call. “I know for a fact that I said it, but when someone’s screaming into the phone, the other person might not necessarily hear them.”
Some of the RHONY stars have since spoken out following the episode, and Brynn’s interview. Keep scrolling to see what they’ve said:
Brynn Whitfield
During her Rolling Stone interview, Brynn said that she’s “always cool” with costars Jenna Lyons and Racquel Chevremont. She also referred to Erin Lichy as “a sister,” and wants to repair her relationships with Sai De Silva, Jessel Taank and Ubah.
“With Ubah, I think what’s done is done. Ubah’s a great person. She has a heart of gold,” Brynn said. “I think she loses her temper, but she has the most beautiful heart and at the end of the day I know I’m also a good person, so I feel like we will get back. But it takes time to repair.”
Erin Lichy
Erin, on the other hand, felt differently about what Brynn said during her Rolling Stone interview.
“To say we are sisters is quite the reach … we haven’t spoken or seen in each other in months other than Brynn thanking Abe [Lichy] for clearing up the intention for the call,” Erin shared in an Instagram comment, which was posted by the Queens of Bravo fan account. “I really wanted Brynn to win so bad. I was excited to watch her shine like I am with all my girlfriends.”
Erin explained that she was “particularly excited” for Brynn to “break free” from her childhood trauma.
“This show is supposed to be FUN, it’s all I tried to do throughout yet somehow things kept getting twisted and turned and I will take ownership that I very much was naïve and fell victim to much manipulation,” her comment continued. “I swore I wouldn’t comment but this article is so triggering to me, and I just can’t stay silent.”
Jenna Lyons
During her Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen appearance after the RHONY finale, Jenna claimed that she has not spoken with Brynn since they filmed the season 15 reunion.
Jessel Taank and Racquel Chevremont
While they have yet to speak out, they were in the audience during Jenna’s appearance on WWHL and sat without emotion as their costar said there has been no contact with Brynn.
