Where is Britain's Got Talent Filmed? Unveiling the Show's Iconic Locations

As Britain’s Got Talent enters its 18th season, many fans are curious about where the iconic talent show is filmed—especially with a major change to the audition locations in 2025.

Auditions Move to Blackpool’s Winter Gardens

For the first time in the show's history, BGT has relocated all of its audition rounds exclusively to Blackpool's Winter Gardens, a historic venue that dates back to the 1800s. The seaside town’s vibrant culture and enthusiastic crowds made it the perfect setting for this season’s hopefuls. The move was backed by Simon Cowell, who praised Blackpool for its energy and charm.

Traditionally, BGT auditions were held across the UK in cities like London, Birmingham, and Manchester, including famous venues such as the London Palladium and The Lowry in Manchester. But 2025 marks a new chapter in concentrating the excitement in one iconic location.

Where Are the Live Shows Filmed?

While auditions are based in Blackpool, the live shows are set to be filmed at Fountain Studios in Wembley, London—a familiar spot for longtime viewers. Fountain Studios has hosted some of BGT’s most dramatic moments over the years. Past live shows have also been filmed at Elstree Studios and Hammersmith Apollo, offering variety in atmosphere and scale.

This new setup reflects BGT’s ongoing evolution and commitment to keeping things fresh for both contestants and fans. With Blackpool as the new audition hub and London continuing to shine for live performances, 2025 promises to be a standout season for the show.
