As the youth movement thunders onward, seven Philadelphia Flyers prospects will be representing the organization at the 2025 World Junior Summer showcase in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this week.

This group of Flyers prospects is headlined by none other than Porter Martone, the 2025 No. 6 overall pick and recent Michigan State University commit.

Martone, 18, will be joined by 2024 second-round pick Spencer Gill on Hockey Canada's roster. The two players were teammates on the Canada squad that won gold the 2024 U18 World Junior Championships.

Absent from that group is fellow Flyers prospect Jett Luchanko. The 18-year-old center was invited by Canada but was unable to participate as he continues to rest and recover from a groin injury that held him off the ice during the Flyers' development camp earlier in the month.

On the United States, 2025 draft picks Shane Vansaghi and Jack Murtagh will be representing the Orange and Black.

The two wingers were listed as linemates ahead of Sunday's opening game against Finland.

And, for Finland, 2024 fourth-round pick Heikki Ruohonen and 2025 fifth-round pick Max Westergard line up against Vansaghi, Murtagh, and the U.S.

Ruohonen was listed as the first-line center for this matchup, while Westergard filled in as the third-line left wing.

Last but certainly not least is forward Jack Berglund, who will be representing Sweden at the World Junior Summer Showcase for the second year in a row.

His 2025 World Junior Championship run was cut short by a broken hand, so the Summer Showcase will be an opportunity for him to re-acclimate with his international teammates and gear up for one last push for a medal with his nation as a junior international player.
