Which Golden Knights preseason game sounds like the most fun?

Utah Hockey Club v Vegas Golden Knights

Yes, you know the Vegas Golden Knights aren't facing the Boston Bruins or Montreal Canadiens. Still, which preseason game sounds like the most fun?

The NHL preseason means as much as the other preseasons in other sports. It's essentially a tryout and a way to get your starters warmed up. Sure, it doesn't mean much to many fans or players.

But hey, there's hockey on the television (or the Knighttime app, in this case). If you're the type of fan who can't wait until the regular season starts, this post is for you.

This past week saw the Vegas Golden Knights drop their preseason schedule for the masses. One thing already stood out from the release.

First of all, how in the world do two teams face each other three times in a single preseason? Sure, some chud will point out, "wElL, iT hApPeNeD oN tHiS dAtE." That's not the point.

Even if a team's one of your biggest rivals historically, it still seems out of the blue. Man, it's not even the regular season, too!

Anyways, the preseason schedule is out, with the regular season schedule out almost a month later. The games that I'm excited for? Stay tuned for that one.

In the meantime, let's look at the most enticing preseason matchups. What's the one game I want to see from the seven preseason matchups?

The one Golden Knights preseason matchup I want to see

I'm marking my calendar for September 25 when the Golden Knights take on the Utah Mammoth. The newly branded team from the Beehive state is hoping to elevate their games and get into the Stanley Cup playoffs next season.

I'm excited to see which players come up on the Mammoth. Will we see Tij Iginla, the son of Jerome Iginla, take the ice? What about Cole Beaudoin? The future is bright in Salt Lake City and the gang's rearing up for a breakout season.

Finally, I want to simply see the new logo. For some reason, I think of the "Book of Mormon" when seeing the logo. I don't know why. I will probably have such musicals stuck in my head when the game goes on.

Preseason hockey only means one thing: regular season hockey is coming soon. That means that "Mammoth" things are on the way. Don't worry, Golden Knights fans. That time will come soon enough.
