The ITV contest has revealed the line-up for its first live semi-final of 2025.
Britain's Got Talent has unveiled its line-up for the first live semi-final of the 2025 series and it includes three golden buzzer acts.
The ITV1 talent contest has had a format shake-up this year, spreading the semi-finals out over Saturday nights rather than running them all in one week as usual. Another change this series is that the golden buzzer will make its way into the semi-finals, with a different judge given control of it each time to pick an act to go straight through to the grand finale.
Judges have been golden buzzer happy so far this series, meaning there are three acts championed by them in the first semi-final alone. But will they win the live golden buzzer or will another of the acts be in with a chance to make the finale?
The viewers will get to vote on their favourites from the rest of the acts to get the second finale place each semi-final, so make sure you're watching to get your pick from these acts who are up first.
Who's in Britain's Got Talent's first semi-final?
Akira
He might not have won a golden buzzer, but Akira's audition was a hit with judges and viewers alike.
The Japanese performer had the audience in hysterics as he stripped off, barely covering his modesty with a series of objects including a beach ball, plates and tissues - although hosts Ant and Dec complained that they had the worst view in the house as they could see everything.
Is it a performance fit for the King's eyes, though?
Auzzy Blood
Viewers weren't quite sure whether they were fascinated or terrified by Auzzy Blood and even the judges found it difficult to watch. In fact, it even sparked complaints to Ofcom.
He showed off a series of stomach-churning tricks including threading a giant corkscrew through his tongue and piping wine through his nose towards Simon Cowell's mouth.
Eden Choi
Britain's Got Talent loves a magician and there are two of them appearing in the first semi-final of the 2025 series - but can either of them go on to win?
Eden Choi's super-precise performance was called "perfection" by Amanda Holden in the auditions, so we're looking forward to seeing how he ups his game this time.
Heavysaurus
There have been plenty of crazy acts in the 2025 series, from pole dancing seagulls to men running on Lego-strewn treadmills.
One that stood out enough to make the semi-finals was Heavysaurus, a rock band of dinosaurs who will have been practising hard ahead of Saturday.
Linda Mudzenda - Golden Buzzer
Singer Linda Mudzenda might have been full of nerves ahead of her audition, but the judges were blown away by her voice - so much so that she was Alesha Dixon's golden buzzer pick.
On her semi-final performance, Mudzenda said: "I can only say it’s a song that is about defining who Linda is and also relates to people who have lost their identity and seeking to find themselves again."
Meanwhile, Dixon told ITV's Lorraine: "I felt something with her, that's what it's about for me, waiting for that moment where someone emotes an emotion in you, like moves you. She has the power to do it. She's actually singing on Saturday night and I've heard that she's really, really nervous, but she just has to embrace it. You have to embrace the nerves, that's part of it."
Teddy Magic
Semi-final one's second magician Teddy Magic is just eight years old, but his performance packs a punch.
The judges couldn't believe he was so young in his audition because of his talent at tricks and skill as a performer. Teddy is sure to have something special lined up for Saturday.
The Blackouts - Golden Buzzer
Swiss light show performers The Blackouts threw themselves into the BGT experience with a London-themed act in their auditions which won a golden buzzer.
On what's to come this Saturday, they said: "We’re taking everything to the next level — with more power, more love, and more light than ever before. Expect brand-new LED effects, high-energy choreography, and emotional moments that go straight to the heart.
"We’re working day and night to create something that people won’t forget, because we want everyone at home to experience an unforgettable Saturday night. Not just a show — but a feeling that stays with you.
Vinnie McKee - Golden Buzzer
Completing the first line-up is yet another golden buzzer winner - singer Vinnie McKee, who stunned the audience at his audition with his operatic take on Proclaimers hit 500 Miles.
He said of his semi-final performance: "I’m taking a British classic and doing a very exciting version with Vinnie flair. I can’t wait for people to hear it."
Britain's Got Talent's live semi-final airs on ITV1 at 7pm on Saturday, 26 April.
