Why It’s Time For General Hospital’s Michael And Sasha To Be The Couple They Should Have Been

Michael returned to General Hospital with a bang. He came home, scooped up his children, and pretty much declared war on Drew and Willow. His kids are his priority, but there was a definite spark when he saw Sasha.

Baby Daddy

While everyone in Port Charles believes that Jason (Steve Burton) is the father of Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby, we all know it is really Michael (Rory Gibson). She has been definite in telling them both that she wants to raise the baby alone, but now that Michael is home, have her feelings changed?

The returned Michael is no longer pining over Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). He will not attempt to win her back. He only wants to get his children away from her and her creepy boyfriend, Drew (Cameron Mathison). His heart will be open to someone new, but what about someone from his past?

In And Out Of Love

Back in the day, Michael and Sasha made a great couple. They were very much in love and made a great team. He even stood by her when she admitted that she was not Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter and that Valentin (ex-James Patrick Stuart) paid her to pretend she was.

They did not break up because they fell out of love. Their relationship ended only because Sasha sacrificed herself so that her boyfriend could marry Willow and keep his son. Michael and Willow did fall in love, but he always cared for Sasha, as did the rest of his family. If Nelle (ex-Chloe Lanier) hadn’t tried to get custody of Wiley (Viron Weaver), Michael and Sasha may have stayed together forever.

One Small Problem

Sasha not only wants to raise their baby alone, but she also doesn’t want anyone to know she and Michael slept together. It may hurt his custody case against his ex because he did cheat on Willow. So, for now, it is best that they keep their secret.

That may change sooner than expected. Nina has figured out what happened and who is most likely the baby daddy. Willow’s mom may hate Drew, but she will do anything to protect her daughter and keep her grandchildren with their mom. The whole situation is about to blow up.

This, of course, doesn’t mean that Michael and Sasha cannot fall back in love. They would make an amazing couple. Do you agree? Let us know in the comments section.
