'Will be President of the United States' - Las Vegas Raiders drafted one of the smartest dudes in the country

The Las Vegas Raiders knew that they would take at least one quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft. Well, they ended up taking two, kind of, and neither of them were guys we even thought about the Raiders drafting -- both FCS quarterbacks, both studs.

The Raiders drafted two guys who played quarterback in college, but only one is going to be a quarterback in the NFL, or at least for the Raiders. Cam Miller is the developmental QB the Raiders took a swing on in the sixth round, and he has all of the traits to be a good QB at this level with some development.

Tommy Mellott went before Miller, and while he played QB, he'll end up being a wide receiver, and there's a good reason why. Let's just say he is one of the smartest dudes in the country. In fact, when you read some of the things that Mellott can do, it really makes you realize how crazy of an athlete he is, and how highly people think of him.

Bruce Feldman, a college football insider, thinks he could be the President of the United States.

"He has a 4.0 in engineering, six percent body fat, a 39-inch vertical, is 210 pounds. Smartest QB I have ever been around, 4.3 40-yard dash. Smartest human alive. Will be President of the United States. Every father wants their daughter to date him, every mother wants to adopt him."

In this draft, the Las Vegas Raiders drafted athletic dudes who are smart. That's the trend, and that's the model that the Raiders were after. And, it worked out well throughout the weekend. For Mellott, he will be even more valuable because of his IQ at the QB position, and moving that to the wide receiver position.

It will be fun to watch how he develops and finds his niche with the Raiders over the summer and towards the start of training camp. He's already drawing comparisons to New Orleans Saints TE Taysom Hill and former New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman. If he can do anything close to what those two have done in their NFL Careers, the pick in the sixth round will be a success.
