Will Dolores Catania Join Real Housewives of Rhode Island ? She Says...
Dolores Catania is ready for Rhode Island.
Two months after Bravo announced the network is expanding its beloved Real Housewives franchise with The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed her surprising connection to the new cast of New England ladies.
"I think it's amazing," Dolores exclusively told E! News of the upcoming reality series. "I know some of the girls and you are in for a treat. You think we're Italian? They paint the streets with the Italian flag in Rhode Island. They're feisty."
But, despite her connection to the show's stars, The Traitors alum played coy when it came to rumors she might be making a cameo on the upcoming Bravo series.
As Dolores teased, "Stay tuned."
While the future of her own reality series remains uncertain amid RHONJ's ongoing pause following last year's season 14 finale, Dolores doesn't think Rhode Island can fill the Garden State-sized hole in fans' hearts. The reason?

"New Jersey's in a league of its own," the 54-year-old—who's been a full-time cast member since season seven—admitted. "So, I think that it won't, only because you've made relationships with us. We remind you of your aunt or your mom or your cousins. I think it's the people that you miss even more than the show."
And the feeling is mutual for Dolores.

"I miss everything about filming," she admitted. "I miss the good times and the bad times. It's a relationship I've been doing for over eight years now and you miss the people that you saw so often. It's like a bad breakup."
Dolores does, however, appreciate fans wanting to see her return to TV ASAP.
"I've gotten so much support over the years and I can't thank everybody enough for that," she gushed. "It means the world to me. Like, I want to bring everyone over the house. I don't care if it's a million people, I want everyone to sleep over and stay."
As for which of her RHONJ costars she still talks to when cameras are down?
"I spoke to almost everyone today," she revealed. "I keep in touch with all of them: Jen Fessler, Margaret Josephs, Melissa [Gorga], Teresa [Giudice], Danielle Cabral. The Jersey girls are tied. I really hope we come back."
For now, Dolores is focusing on staying healthy amid her GLP-1 weight loss journey with the help of a secret weapon she wants fans to know about.
"When you start the GLP-1s, one of the side effects is nausea,” Dolores shared. "My Advanced Herbals® from the makers of Dramamine®, the ginger chews, they get me through it. These amazing chews help you with the nausea. I actually wish I had them when I was pregnant 30 years ago because they would they would have been my best friend. They definitely helped me get over the hump. It's amazing."
