Will Grief Bring Nate and Victoria Back Together on Y&R?

On The Young and the Restless, Nate and Victoria are overcome with grief. Victor is mourning the loss of Cole, while Nate is mourning the loss of his brother, Damian. The two recently connected and moved forward from their difficult past, which could tease a renewed romantic connection.

Why Did Nate and Victoria Break Up?

Nate (Sean Dominic) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) had a passionate love affair. They used to work together in the corporate world, which changed the dynamics of their relationship. Nate was betrayed by Victoria when she chose her family over him, which led to his firing from Newman Enterprises.

Victoria failed to support Nate, and their relationship was already on life support. Yet, we still see that there’s love between them. Nate and Victoria recently connected over their past and were able to move on. Nate’s relationship with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) amid the new corporate wars could have him going back to Victoria.

Turning A New Leaf

Victoria and Nate could find comfort in each other during this time. Neither was invited to Nice, so they have no idea what happened during Damian’s (Jermaine Rivers) death or any of the other gruesome murders. They might also not know whether to trust Cane (Billy Flynn), who’s determined to have a fresh start in Genoa City.

Both are in mourning at this time, which will bring them closer together. We can see Nate and Victoria having more conversations about grief. They’re going to need each other while the others are still reeling from their intense trip to Nice. Victoria already told Nate that the door is always open for him, and Claire (Hayley Erin) agreed with her. We would love to see this new dynamic play out.

Hopefully, this will keep them grounded. Both characters have experienced immense growth in recent years. The last thing that Nate and Victoria should do is go back to corporate life. They could realize that they bring out the best in each other when they’re not involved in that drama. And it’s likely that Nate will find out that Audra is back to her old ways…
