General Hospital is sorta Mental Hospital these days, owing to Willow’s breakdown. In the wake of her affair with Drew, estranged husband Michael sued for custody and won — and to put it mildly, she didn’t take it well. (In fact, her visceral reaction to the devastating twist was just added to Soaps.com’s ever-growing list of the year’s best moments.)

What’s next for Congressman Cutthroat’s girlfriend is a big ol’ question mark. Amelia is already asking for her mom, and while Michael seems open to the possibility of reuniting them, he doesn’t feel that he can, not with her behavior being so erratic. And it may get a whole lot worse before it gets better.

“Anything is possible in the realm of her mental state,” Katelyn MacMullen tells Soap Opera Digest. “I think at any given moment or on any given day, it’s kind of unpredictable.” In other words, “expect the unexpected.”

Could Willow go so far as to try to kidnap Wiley and Amelia? Given that her entire life has been one trauma (Dawn of Day) after another (surprise! Nina’s your mother!) after another (nearly dying), could her personality split in two — thereby necessitating a visit from dissociative-identity disorder expert Viki Buchanan? (We know that One Life to Live legend Erika Slezak has booked an arc on General Hospital.)

Or will Willow manage to keep it together just long enough to find out how often and horribly she’s been manipulated by Drew? If she learns just what a scumbag she’s gone all in with, and what it’s cost her, we could finally be headed to the “Who killed Drew?” murder mystery we’ve been anticipating for ages. Consider all the other suspects below.
