Philly’s WR room is loaded — and the draft strategy proves it. No early WR picks needed, and here’s why.
The Eagles’ offense might not be pass-heavy, but it doesn’t lack firepower — A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Jahan Dotson form one of the most complete WR trios in the NFL.
With Howie Roseman bringing in former second-rounder Terrace Marshall Jr. for depth, and a handful of long-bodied, athletic backups already in the mix (Johnny Wilson, Elijah Cooks, Danny Gray), Philly is locking in a high-upside WR group without spending a Day 1 or 2 pick.
The plan? Save cap for future extensions, let Marshall, Gray, and UDFA flyers battle it out behind the stars. Dotson could even be a trade chip if needed.
Draft targets? Maybe a Day 3 name like Miami’s Sam Brown or Notre Dame’s Beaux Collins — but anything more would be overkill.
Bottom line: This is the deepest WR group the Sirianni era has seen — and it's already draft-proof.
