Answering fans questions on Instagram Wynne Evans has given a health update

Welsh presenter and TV star Wynne Evans has given a health update and hinted at his return to TV and radio, to his fans on Instagram. Talking about his recent injury, Wynne said it was "really nasty".
Wynne, who took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2024 and also had his own BBC Radio Wales show, left the Strictly Live tour and stepped back from his radio show after he was overheard making an inappropriate comment towards host Janette Manrara during the launch in Birmingham earlier this year.
Now he is enjoying a holiday in Dubai and answered fans' questions on his Instagram story. When asked how his recovery is going for his broken foot, he said: "Not brilliant, but it was a really nasty break".
The 53-year-old also hinted at a return to showbiz.
When asked when he would next be on the TV, Wynne said: "Yep... soon".
One fan told Wynne they missed his "daily banter" on the radio show and Wynne replied: "Miss you guys too hopefully it won't be for long".

Recently Wynne returned to social media, after taking a break when stepping down from the radio show and in his return he has been using the hashtags #TruthWins and #Wynners
In his statement after leaving the Strictly tour, Wynne said: "I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing."
He added: "I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection.
"Apologies to those I won't get to see at the remaining performances and I'm grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me."
It has also been reported he will not feature in any future GoCompare adverts. Wynne has been known for his role as Gio Compario since he first appeared in the GoCompare adverts in 2009.
However, a source has told the Mail on Sunday that he will not record any future adverts. WalesOnline approached GoCompare but they declined to comment.
Wynne Evans' representatives have also been contacted for comment.
