Cane makes a secret visit to Genoa City while his party guests are still in Nice, France. Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) gives Cane welcome news. Later, Cane reconnects with someone from his past.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) learn some shockers about Aristotle Dumas.
Adam catches a flight to Nice and makes a surprise appearance at Cane’s private estate. He provides Victor Newman (Eric Braden) with valuable intel regarding Cane.
Despite Diane Jenkins’s (Susan Walters) warnings to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), he may get close enough to the fire to get burned, and it could cost him Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Claire face Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) grim fate. Sadly, Cole believes it’s time to say goodbye to his daughter and his lady love.
If Cole passes away, it will break their hearts. However, it could open up the potential for Holden and Claire to connect as he genuinely seems to care.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) eavesdrops on someone else’s conversation and learns some useful information.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) have a heated showdown. Of course, Devon should expect an icy reception from Amanda since he did cheat on her.

Audra and Kyle may give in to temptation and go a step too far in their little cat-and-mouse game. Would Kyle risk his relationship with Claire?
In turn, Audra may regret crossing the line due to her scheme with Victor and betraying Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). If these two aren’t careful, this could become a real mess.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) continues to investigate Cane’s statement that someone is trying to kill him. Will Chance risk losing his own life to protect Cane? Regardless, a murder mystery is on the horizon.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is still haunted by the memory of what happened with the creepy stranger she had drinks with during her business trip.
Perhaps we’ll learn more about what prompted Mariah to separate from Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Truthfully, we’re not even sure we want to know.
Speaking of Tessa, she’ll lean on Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazedei) for support. He’ll at least give her some comfort while Mariah continues to torture herself.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be worried sick about Mariah, especially since she’ll still be unable to contact her in Nice.
Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) plans to ask Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) to marry him. Of course, she’ll be floored and say yes.
