Y&R Fans Want Billy to Cut Ties With Jill

They called out Jill’s behavior with Billy.

Young and the Restless Jill and Billy

Talk about the ultimate betrayal. Jill was exposed on a recent episode of The Young and the Restless. She confessed to Billy that she knew about Cane’s plan all along. Fans are calling for Billy to cut ties with his mother, for once and for all.

Jill Gets Exposed

Jill (Jess Walton) found herself in a difficult spot. She admitted to Billy (Jason Thompson) that she knew about Cane (Billy Flynn) the whole time. She was aware of his plan to become the Great Aristotle Dumas that never was. On one soap opera message board, Y&R fans called out Jill for her lack of regard for Billy’s feelings. They want him to drop her for good.

The original poster wrote, “Billy isn’t perfect, but I do think that she is a terrible mother to him. I mean, she has shown no loyalty to him.” Other fans called out Cane for his tone with Billy. After all, he was involved with Jill all this time. Even Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) softened once she found out the truth.

“Phyllis and her open-mouth reaction were great… She’s not as cocky now that she hears that Jill is involved,” one person responded. “Jill has always been a horrible mother to Billy,” another person argued.

Sell Out

With the truth comes more questions. Fans want to know why Jill didn’t just sell Chancellor to Cane. Instead, she sold it to Victor (Eric Braeden). But Cane still thinks he’s entitled to Chancellor. His goal is to get his hands on it. Obviously, this storyline has some plot holes, and hopefully, we’ll get to the bottom of it.

“I was thinking a few weeks ago about why Cane didn’t try to buy Chancellor from Jill when she sold it,” someone else wondered. “If she knew, why not sell to Cane? Why keep it in the ‘family?’ This doesn’t make sense,” another person asked.

Cane revealed that he was in contact with Jill. But we don’t know how much they were involved. Yet, this still shows that Jill favors Cane. What are your thoughts? Do you think Billy should drop his mom from his life? Sound off below in the comments section.
