Audra and Kyle continue their passionate kiss as she leads him to the bed.
The two fall together onto the bed while still making out.
Things seem to be going in Audra’s favor as Kyle kisses all over her neck. He suddenly kisses her ear and smiles, telling her that he is on to her.
Audra wonders what he means.
Kyle tells her that she is smart and can figure it out.
Audra hopes he’s not talking about “this.” She questions if he really believes that she planned to come there at the crack of dawn to seduce him.
Kyle says it’s just like every other move she’s made since they got there.
Audra asserts that he is out of his mind and she hasn’t made any moves on him.
Kyle quips about her saying how she feels so safe with him.
Audra admits she was vulnerable and scared following the murder of Damian.
Audra assures him that what happened just now was completely spontaneous.
Kyle isn’t buying it. He knows she doesn’t leave the house without an agenda.
Audra suggests he doesn’t know what he’s saying.
Kyle calls out the new low she’s sunk to by using her boyfriend’s brother’s murder to lure him into bed.
Audra points out that she did not have to manipulate because he was just as into it as she was.
Kyle informs her that she’s wrong and he has learned to fake it as well as she does, if not better.
Audra insists that Kyle has some nerve accusing her of using Damian’s death to try to seduce him. She is devastated for Nate and Amy.
Kyle was waiting for her to use the “righteous indignation card.”
Kyle suggests they may have a hard time understanding how she expressed her grief.
Audra says she was scared, and he knows that. She reminds him they are trapped there with a killer on the loose. She apologizes for turning to him out of desperation when she couldn’t find her friend, Sally.
Kyle is amused by how it all fell conveniently into her plan.
Audra assures him there is no plan. She never expected this and is insulted by his accusations.
She grabs her things and says this is a mistake because of all their emotions.
Kyle tells her she is good but wants her to admit that he beat her this time, both her and Victor!
Audra calls Kyle “delusional” for bringing Victor into this.
Kyle is certain that Victor is pulling her strings.
Audra assures him that the only connection Victor has to any of this is that he is the investor of Vibrante.
Kyle wonders what changed.
Audra says Victor realizes now that he should’ve chosen her over Kyle.
Kyle says she is talented, but not in cosmetics.
Audra smacks him on the chest and tells him to go, “Straight to hell with that one!”
Kyle wonders what Nate will think of all this.
Audra doesn’t think Nate will believe anything Kyle says.
Kyle reminds her that she has a reputation that would cause him doubts. He wasn’t sure of the endgame until now and accuses Audra of trying to split him and Claire up for Victor.
Audra calls Kyle “a joke.”
Kyle is certain about his theory.
Audra stands by her lie and refuses to acknowledge any arrangement with Victor to come between him and Claire.
Kyle credits her for continuing her lie.
Audra asserts that Victor knows she is good at business.
Kyle assures her that Victor’s bottom line is separating him and Claire.
Audra finds it pathetic how Kyle had to make an arrangement with Victor to be with Claire. She feels sorry for Claire.
Kyle feels sorry for Nate.
Audra orders him to leave Nate out of this.
Kyle suggests Nate will figure it out on his own. He informs her that he has been playing her, and the social media campaign was all an act.
Audra suggests that Kyle seduced her, and he is the one with a master plan. She wonders if his daddy knows how far he is willing to go.
Kyle is appalled about how deep she had to go to dig that up.
Audra says she only went as far as he did and calls out how he responded with great passion.
Kyle says he only wanted to see how far she would take it, and now he has his answer because she was “willing to go all the way.”
Audra knows better and insists he was just as involved. She can’t believe he finds himself to be so “irresistible.” She reminds him that numerous people, including Cane, have seen him flirting with her.
Kyle says he had to play a role to make it look good, but now it’s over. He suggests that Vibrante will never see the light of day.
Kyle gloats about Audra being too arrogant to consider how much he loves Claire.
He shows her the door and reminds her that she failed.
Audra leaves and tries to gather her thoughts.
Phyllis hates being stuck between Cane and Nick with so much at stake.
Sharon hopes she’s not still talking about a job.
Phyllis assures Sharon that she wants justice for Damian, but she doesn’t appreciate Nick calling her a cold, calculating monster.
Nick rejoins his pair of ex-wives.
Phyllis hopes he’s there to apologize.
Nick suggests she is out of her mind for protecting a killer, and he’s got more evidence to prove it.
Sharon wants to know what the latest is.
Nick says that it appears their host has a system of cameras all over the property and has been watching them.
Phyllis throws it back to Nick that Victor and every other rich guy have the same setup.
Nick informs them that despite all the cameras, including the one at the crime scene, the screens go blank right before Damian is killed.
Sharon wonders if someone erased it.
Nick believes so. He wants to know what Phyllis thinks.
Phyllis thinks the real killer or killers erased it, but insists that it was not Cane. She suggests that any court would laugh in his face with only that as evidence.
Nick hates how she refuses to see the truth that is right in front of her.
Phyllis doesn’t like how Nick is solely focused on Cane’s guilt. She says the missing footage is convenient for the killer, but not for Cane.
Nick refuses to waste any more energy on trying to reason with her. The authorities are still not here, and he plans to go down the mountain for help.
Sharon reminds him that Chance instructed them to limit their movement until he finishes the investigation.
Nick doesn’t care and says no one can stop him.
Phyllis begs him not to go.
Nick wants to know how far Phyllis is willing to go to protect Cane.
Phyllis doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Nick says Cane tried to stop him and suggests they cooked this up together.
Sharon supports Nick and finds that Phyllis is going out of her way to back up whatever Cane does.
Phyllis promises that she is only concerned about Nick’s safety.
Nick reminds her that Adam made it there and back safely.
Phyllis calls out that no one knows if Adam made it down the mountain alive.
Nick refuses to wait around any longer.
Phyllis begs him again not to go and says the cops are already on their way.
Nick and Phyllis agree that they both want to know how Cane made it back and forth to Genoa City.
Nick suggests that Cane will only lie, and she will believe every word.
Phyllis calls him out for being unfair.
Nick thinks that setting him up for murder is unfair. He vows to get the cops there before Cane or his accomplices can pull anything else.
Phyllis says it will look as if Nick is fleeing the scene of a crime.
Nick accuses her of already being on Cane’s payroll.
Phyllis is tired of his accusations, but she doesn’t believe Cane is the killer.
Nick says that she is throwing all of their history of parenting together out the window for a job.
Phyllis knows he believes she cares about him. She begs him to dig deep and realize that someone other than Cane could’ve committed the murder.
Nick wants professionals here to solve it – Not Cane! He leaves the car.
Phyllis wants to know why Sharon didn’t chime in because he would’ve listened to her.
Sharon doesn’t think so and says they both know how Nick gets when he makes up his mind.
Phyllis knows that Nick has made up his mind about her. She tells Sharon to trust her about how dangerous it is for him to go down the mountain.
Sharon doesn’t see what choice he has because something must be done.
Billy and Jack discuss the fallout between Nick and Cane.
Billy wants to dig into their conversation about Jack accusing him of letting him down again.
Jack doesn’t like how Billy blindsided him. He reminds him that he promised to give up his dream of getting Chancellor back. He reminds Billy that he signed over the managing rights of Abbott Communications to Sally without consulting him, and he’s the financial backer.
Billy says that will only happen if he gets Chancellor back. He thought it was his company, and he could make the decisions.
Jack points out that no new company would switch out the CEO at the last minute without running it by their investor(s).
Billy assures him that Sally would be a great CEO.
Jack says it’s not about Sally, but is about his quest for revenge.
Billy hypothetically wants to know what Jack would think if he admitted he wants Chancellor back.
Jack would appreciate finally being told the truth by his brother.
Billy admits that he will never forget about getting Chancellor back and righting the wrong that was done to him. He senses that Jack wants out of the deal and wants to know if he’s in or out.
Billy doesn’t like being judged by his brother.
Jack asserts that using Cane is not a game plan to take on Victor and Jill.
Billy thinks he knows Cane pretty well.
Jack thinks Cane has bigger problems to face right now, other than getting Victor to give him Chancellor.
Billy suggests they see how that plays out.
Jack notes the forever “gambler” in his brother.
Billy demands to know once and for all if Jack is in or out!
Jack loses his patience and gives his brother the honesty he wants. He informs him that Abbott Communications is a non-starter without him, and Billy “can’t even open the damn doors” without his backing! He suggests his brother hasn’t presented anything that would inspire confidence.
Billy disagrees and calls out how he is always on the outside when it comes to Jack.
Jack tries to reason with Billy, but Billy says, “I think I’m done.” He is pulling out of the partnership and will find a new investor.
Jack hopes he doesn’t mean Cane.
Billy doesn’t see why not and says that Cane can buy Jack out. That will eliminate his having to be concerned about his “wayward brother.” Billy suggests they go their separate ways and forget this partnership ever happened.
Billy leaves, and Jack stands at a loss about what to do.
Nick laces up his shoes when someone knocks on his door.
He finds Sharon on the other side and hopes she isn’t there to try and stop him.
Sharon says she is going with him. She says there is safety in numbers, and they can help each other.
Nick wonders if they will ever have a normal life again.
Carter and a henchman knock at the door and inform Nick that he is under house arrest for Mr. Dumas’ safety.
Nick thinks it’s a joke.
Carter says that Mr. Dumas can take whatever measures he wants to protect himself on his private property.
Nick wants to speak with Cane right now.
Carter urges him to come peacefully, or he can make it as difficult as he wants.
Sharon offers to alert Victor.
Carter says that Sharon must accompany them, and neither of them has a choice.
Billy pours a drink and thinks back to when Jack was happy for him and Abbott Communications.
Phyllis enters from the maze and sees that Billy looks as rough as she feels.
Phyllis pours herself a drink to join him.
Billy tells her that he’s had an argument with his brother.
Phyllis assumes Jack doesn’t like his plan of going after Chancellor. She says she could have told him that. She accuses him of being distracted like a cat chasing a shiny object.
Billy is not amused.
Phyllis reminds him that he is lucky to have a brother financing his vision. She doesn’t find pity to be a good look on him.
Billy insists it’s not him and that he thinks “too big” for everyone.
Phyllis understands that. She reminds him that everyone, including him, has treated her like dirt, but she always lands on her feet. She asserts that Cane is innocent, but Lily and Nick are determined to pin Damian’s murder on him.
Billy thinks they are “dead wrong.”
Phyllis notes the trip as being a disaster and doesn’t believe it can get any worse.
Billy isn’t used to seeing the softer, defeated side of Phyllis.
Phyllis says one can only take so many hits. She was optimistic and only wanted a job.
Billy wants to know if she really believes Cane is innocent.
Phyllis assures him that Cane did not do it. She reminds Billy about being innocent until proven guilty.
Billy doesn’t think it works that way in France.
Phyllis suggests they get drunk.
Billy says they need a plan instead of another drink.
Phyllis agrees.
Billy says that he wants Chancellor back, and she needs a job. He says they need to get that done.
Phyllis suggests they come together to devise a plan to get Cane off the hook.
