Y&R SHOCKER: Damian’s Killer Confesses, But Another Character Might Die?!

There’s going to be tense, edge-of-your-seat drama this week on The Young and the Restless. The video preview reveals that a confession is made, and it might be game over for another character. Here’s what to expect for July 28-August 1.

The murder mystery in France concludes this week, with all signs leading to Carter (Vincent Stalba). Cane’s (Billy Flynn) assistant has drawn a lot of suspicion, and this week, he reaches his breaking point. When Cane and Chance (Conner Floyd) pressure him into confessing about Damian’s (Jermaine Rivers) murder, Carter resorts to drastic measures. He pulls out a gun and takes Lily (Christel Khalil) hostage. As Cane and Chance reason with him, Carter confesses he killed Damian for Cane.

Later, when the police arrive, Cane is in his office when Amanda (Mishael Morgan) arrives. He inquires if the authorities are still at the chalet. She says they’re wrapping up their investigation, and the coroners are taking the bodies. So, it appears that Carter or maybe someone else bites the big one. Amanda tells Cane that with the case closed, he’s in the clear. “Am I?” he asks. Cane will obviously feel remorse for the tragedies that took place, and a few guests might blame him, too.

Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Sally (Courtney Hope) bring an injured Nick (Joshua Morrow) to the train car. As Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) check on their son, everyone’s phones start pinging. When Sharon asks why they now have service, Victor says it’s because Cane knows he has lost. Victor then declares it’s time they got the hell out of there.

Back at the office, a frustrated Cane lashes out by tossing everything off his desk. Is it really over for Cane? Or does Mr. Ashby have a few more tricks up his sleeve?
