Y&R Spoilers April 21–25: Diane’s Grand Reveal, Amy’s Fate, and Daniel’s Big Idea!

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) has had a lot of ups and downs in the past year….mostly downs, and then some. He and Heather (Vail Bloom) lost their jobs, and life got hard. Then Heather was murdered, and he spent time clearing his name after being framed by Sharon (Sharon Case). His mom, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), was run off the road and nearly died, and then she was kidnapped and nearly died again. Phyllis secured Daniel a job with Billy’s (Jason Thompson) new company, Abbott Communications, but Daniel’s heart just isn’t into it. He doesn’t trust that Billy will succeed, and he can’t believe that his mom is all in as well. But they’ve offered him a blank slate, and he can do whatever creative thing he wants to do — a podcast, a show, gaming, basically, he can take on any topic, in any format. Next week, Daniel has an idea, and knows just the person to go to about it. Will Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) be willing to help?

Designs on their future

At the Athletic Club, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters), Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Harrison (Redding Munsell), Traci (Beth Maitland), and even Ashley (Eileen Davidson) have been staying in rooms while Diane did what she claimed was a well-needed makeover of the family mansion. Jack was terrified of the changes she was making, especially since she wouldn’t share the details. When he found out a construction crew was involved, his face lost color. But now the work is done, and they can finally move home. But first, it’s the big reveal. Diane brings Jack and Kyle home to the Abbott mansion and leads them through the door with their eyes closed. But when they open their eyes, will they like what they see?

The doctor is in

Nate (Sean Dominic) had arranged for Amy (Valarie Pettiford) to go to a clinic for some specialized treatment for her terminal cancer. It was rough, but she made it through and has come back to Genoa City to recuperate. Next week, Nate tells Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and Amy that the results are in and he has news to share about Amy’s health. Will it be good news?
