Y&R Spoilers: Ian’s Shocking Morgue Switch – Mystery Kidnapping Takes a Deadly Turn!

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that in the Monday, March 10, 2025, episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) opens up to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Nick recalls making sure Ian Ward (Ray Wise) was dead, including calling the morgue, who said he was cremated. However, fans remember Ian opened his eyes in the ambulance after being pronounced dead.

So, could Ian be the one forcing Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to play The Game? Keep reading and let’s explore this possibility.

Mysterious Kidnapping

Just when Sharon got over one hostage situation, she has landed in another. This time, Sharon isn’t alone. Sharon and Phyllis were both kidnapped and put in an abandoned mental hospital together.

At first, Phyllis thought Sharon was responsible for her situation. Soon, it became clear that they were both victims but had no clue who was doing this or why.

Playing The Game

The mysterious captor’s identity hasn’t been revealed yet. Right now, all the women can hear is a distorted male voice. This person knows a whole lot of details about Sharon and Phyllis’ alterations through the years.

Although the captor promised if they played by the rules, they could advance in The Game, there are still no clear answers.

Phyllis Summers Poisoned

Sharon thinks that maybe the captor wants them to make amends to each other. However, that theory will go out the window in Monday’s episode.

That is when he poisons Phyllis, forcing Sharon to solve a riddle to get her co-hostage the antidote. That is clearly someone who loves to play evil mind games. Someone who likes to play God, which brings us to Ian.

Ian Ward’s Morgue Switch?

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that when Ian woke up in the ambulance, it wasn’t shown what happened next. So, it is very possible that Ian could be responsible for Phyllis and Sharon’s kidnapping.

Some fans are wondering how Ian could make this happen. Well, imagine Ian waking up in the ambulance, filled with adrenaline.

Ian might have knocked out or even killed an EMT in the back of the ambulance. It would be just like Ian to switch places with the EMT.

Nick specifically mentioned to Billy that Ian was cremated. So, there is no way to prove that Ian was actually the body cremated. Plus, the fact that Nick is so certain of Ian’s death just means it’s even more likely that Ian is still alive.

What kind of sick game is Ian playing if he is indeed the mysterious captor? Since Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) does share a lead with Nick and Billy, can the women be saved before it’s too late?
