‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things going with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Wednesday, July 9 is going to be a fun character building one as we’re going to get some movement in the main storyline.

Of course, we can’t forget some good old fashioned family drama with the Abbotts.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be furious with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wanting to work with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Jack’s not interested in Billy revenge, but how he lied to him and can’t stay focused on something for more than a minute.

As for the Newmans, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will send Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to see if Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) turned on them.

As for Phyllis, she’ll play coy with Sharon and Cane. She’ll let Cane know about the Newmans knowing about him buying properties in Genoa City.

She won’t tell him Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) came there to report, so she’s saving it for her next ace in the hole.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Billy does it again

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are glad we got some growth out of Billy, and we understand his need to get Chancellor back.

He wants to prove to himself and his mom he’s not a failure. And getting the company back she sold out from under him will do that.

But there’s also the issue where he can’t let things go and move forward, always looking for a big score or win.

That’s what Jack will hammer home about when he learns Billy’s willing to throw in with Cane to get back Chancellor.

Jack feels Billy lied to him, which he did, and this could be the biggest falling out between them yet.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Wednesday, July 9: Phyllis plays both sides

Phyllis looks like she’s fully in with Cane in his endeavor, but she won’t want to give up everything.

For starters, she’ll betray Nick by telling Cane the Newmans know he’s buying up properties.

She won’t tell him how she knows, and Cane will play right into her hands by saying her learning that is her first assignment.

When Sharon seeks her out per Nick’s bidding, they’ll talk about choosing a side. Phyllis will say she hasn’t as she’s weighing which group is best for what she wants.

When Sharon presses her, Phyllis will point out she doesn’t have a history with Cane while everyone she knows tossed her aside.

She’s not going to be in the mood to play nice for some time.

Is Phyllis really playing both ends? Let us known in the comments below.
