The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 25, demonstrate that once Victor makes up his mind, nothing can make him change it, including logic, sense, or humanity. This deeply upsets Lauren and may destroy her marriage.

No matter how many times Michael (Christian Le Blanc) begs Victor’s (Eric Braeden) forgiveness for protecting him from going to jail for kidnapping Jordan (Colleen Zenk), Victor refuses to allow Michael to live it down. Victor gives Michael task after task to prove that he loves Victor above all others, and no matter how far Michael goes, it isn’t far enough for Victor.
Now, Victor has yet another ask. And this one could be the end of Michael. But, really, it’s the least he could do.
Full Up Fed Up
Lauren (Tracey Bregman), for her part, has had enough. Enough of her husband groveling, enough of him putting Victor’s needs ahead of their family’s, enough of Michael justifying not his own sins, but Victor’s. She’s tried to be patient, and she’s tried to be impatient. She’s tried to make demands, and she’s tried to give Michael his space.
Lauren is tired of their lives revolving around Victor. And now she’s afraid it could spell the end of their relationship, as well.
My Son
In the musical, “Into the Woods,” the mother of Jack (of And the Beanstalk fame) sings, “I will my son were not a fool… I wish a lot of things.” Now, imagine Diane (Susan Walters) singing it. Because, whoo, boy, her son Kyle (Michael Mealor) isn’t…the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Kyle keeps making bad decisions after bad decisions, whether in business or in his personal life. Now, Kyle is combining the two by thinking he can outsmart Audra (Zuleyka Silver). Diane worries about the dolt. But more than that, she is really questioning his most recent choices.
