Billy saved Phyllis’ life, and she’s going to become a constant thorn in Sally’s side as Abbott Communications gets off the ground, we’re certain of it. But that’s not necessarily the reason they’ll break up… in fact, Phyllis may have nothing to do with it at all.
In recent episodes of Young & Restless, we’ve learned that Billy is working with Aristotle Dumas, who just so happens to have a history of competing against Victor Newman to acquire companies. The Mustache told Michael that he has beat Dumas out on numerous occasions, and we’re gonna guess that didn’t sit well with the mogul.
Dumas blowing up Billy’s phone took Sally by surprise, and she grilled the heck outta her boyfriend about it. The gist of Billy’s story is that the reclusive mogul reached out to him out of the blue and won him over by sympathizing with the poor treatment he received at the hands of Victor and Jill when it came to Abbott Chancellor. That may have been true, but Billy went on to make a big gamble… by lying to his lady love.
